Former Columbia University student Emma Sulkowicz, better known as “Mattress Girl,” has reemerged after a few months out of the spotlight. This time, she’s brought a robot with her.

Sulkowicz first grabbed national headlines in the fall of 2014, when she began carrying a mattress around campus as part of a senior art thesis. The mattress, she said, symbolized the “weight” she bore after allegedly being raped and having to see her alleged rapist go unpunished. Sulkowicz carried her mattress throughout the school year, was invited to the State of the Union address by Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand 8%, and even defied school officials by hauling her mattress on-stage at graduation.

awwww man....now I'm embarrassed for her.....  that's a real person with a real website that offers news to San Diegans in English and Spanish.....impressive.....

She has a typo on her site, "We will cover major emergencies, such as fires, but we mostly concentrate on the policy items that affect our daily life and nobody else does cover."  The last part of that sentence is awkward.....  and the picture of her with all the gear and the helmet and the camera......also awkward.  And she quotes Nietzsche.

I'm glad the thread went this way.... now I know where to go for some hard hitting news reporting from a no nonsense San Diegian who reports the news in English and Spanish......... :o  Did I mention that?  If she offers a third language, that's pulitzer material.   

She should actually offer a video segment or a column on her site called "ask the rape robot."
