After putting up with smarmy post after smarmy post throughout this primary so far, and just having read a post about the DNC's non-neutrality yet again, I have made up my mind.

My vote cannot be taken for granted. Therefore, if whichever candidate I support does not survive the primary, I will not vote, or I will vote for another candidate on the ballot.

I was just talking to a very good personal friend about this. He is a Bernie voter, but not a Democrat. I am 100% certain he will not vote for other than Bernie. I also was just talking to another very good personal friend who has also decided. She is a Republican, churchgoer in fact, who is voting for Bernie if he survives the primary.

Bernie is all-around the best shot we have to survive as a party. Hillary will NOT draw votes from Republicans, that's for sure. If we don't go with him, we will sink just as the Republicans are, and the warning bells are all around.

Everyone hears them but the insiders. (And a few die-hard Hillary supporters).

**JURY NOTE: I have NOT called anyone out personally. I have not used bad language. I have not even been impolite. I have simply stated the political reality that exists. Please have some consideration.

Church goer? What does that have to do with anything?

As GB said, it was probably included/added to the :bouncy: to bolster its credibility and "silvershadow's" DU-cred. DU-folk seem unwilling/unable to "get" that there is a very broad range of religious groups claiming to be Christian, including BHO's own United Church of Christ (in which he's probably conservative to MOR). OTOH, there are Evangelicals who, from my perspective, have thought through or understood their faith (e.g., what is Socialism but theft, and in it's full Marxian forms, murderous?).

There is simply too much in Bernie's biography for the Republicans to mislead and twist and exaggerate. They don't need much. They will paint Bernie as a Marxist, a Communist, an atheistic lover of Fidel Castro (the clip on youtube, which they will carefully edit), a conscientious objector who had a child-out-of wedlock, and on and on and on. For starters, take a look at what they did to Kerry and Dukakis. These guys are rabid and they have a particular talent for this. It's in their blood.

That's one reason why I and many other Hillary supporters don't support Bernie. I'm scared to death that Bernie will ultimately be a McGovern and we will lose so many down-ballot races that it will set the liberal cause back for many years.

All this of course depends on Bernie winning the nomination. However so far, the Revolution has yet to find its legs.
