Many of the DUmmies know about Skinner's ties to the DNC, but now that the Bernie purge has started they are suddenly brave enough to speak out:

Thanks everyone!

I always knew it would come to this: DU is owned, apparently, by the husband of Hillary's 2008 campaign treasurer (someone please let me know if this isn't true.) Flashlights ain't appreciated by thieves in the night.

 And here we are.

 I spent a bunch of years posting at DU and had a ton of fun writing what was on my mind and tweaking silly people. I learned a lot, and hopefully contributed some insight as well. I am very, very thankful to everyone who helped make this a great experience for me, and I hope that you took something from me, too!

 That part of my life is now over. That's OK. DU's lost many great voices over the past few months, and my mediocre voice can be added to the list.

 Time for bigger and better things.

 JackpineRadicals.org is my new home on the Internet, and I intend to do my part to make it a great home for other FDR Democrats who are unwelcome elsewhere. There will be glitches and challenges, but we'll make it work.

 And we'll fight those @$%ers, and we'll win!.

Yeah, this isn't my good pal Manny's finest hour.  He's lying.  He knew this stuff all the time, all these years.  He knew exactly what was going on.

It was more than ten years ago--more like twelve, maybe--that it became common knowledge Skins's island was part of the DNC empire.  The first place I saw that mentioned was on freerepublic, and I'm sure it'd been mentioned on other, obscure, sites before then.

And P-J Comix's DUmmie FUnnies and our old home were aggressive in pursuing the leads, chasing the story, relaying the facts for the public good.

And the issue was discussed here from the beginning.  If one's not aware, the "beginning" of conservativecave was.....late December 2007.  Our own research into the matter, and its subsequent publicity, is in the archives, for all to see.

Good God, even crazy Andrea's Old Elm Tree and the older site by that one big fat guy (Jerry?) were checking into the matter.....years and years ago.

I have to admit, sadly, that my good pal Manny's lying; he knew this all along.
