At least 7 of them came from Serbia. It appears that one made its way from Serbia, where it was manufactured, to the US, where it was sold and then exported - perhaps illegally, perhaps not - to Europe. How is that the NRA's fault?

Just in the general case, without the full paper trail, it is a leap to say that just because the papers show it was exported to a US distributor does not necessarily mean it ever actually left the European continent.  Theft and diversion in shipping occurs all the time, worldwide, with paperwork fabricated to cover it, even in the US and Europe (It's just more limited to controlled, high-dollar, or hard-to-obtain items in the civilized world).  It's much easier to steal stuff in transit than to let it get where it's going and then take the risk of possibly-multiple different customs contraband inspections to stage it back to where it came from.

The only two reasons a Serbian AK47 purchased in Paris won't be used for terrorism here in the US is that French law won't allow for the purchase in France and NRA lobbied laws make it very easy to buy it here regardless of the availability of AKs in France.

At least seven of the weapons used or discovered after the Nov. 13 attacks in Paris have been identified as being produced by the Serbian factory located in Kragujevac, in central Serbia. Most were manufactured before Yugoslavia broke up in a civil war in the 1990s and most of those are modified versions of the Soviet AK-47, or Kalashnikov.

I used to be a member of a travel club, one year we went to Jamaica and stayed at the RIU in Ocho Rios. Our flight landed in Montego Bay and we were picked up by a deuce and a half with fording equipment for the ride over. The room that me and the ex stayed in had great view of the gulf but it also looked out over Ocho Rios. It was kind of an odd sensation watching those folkes wake up in their tin shacks, put on their uniforms and trudge in to work at the resort.

Did a day trip into town which stopped at the local tourist trap. It went well until someone flashed some american money, then it felt like we might have to shoot our way out.

Another day I went for a morning swim, I was paddling around and saw something that looked like a jellyfish floating around. I cautiously swam closer, of course I didn't want to get stung by a jellyfish right? Turns out it was a golf ball size chunk of weed in saran wrap!

Interesting place, I'd recommend staying on the reservation but if you must go into town, travel in large groups.

Ex wife & I did a similar trip about 12 years ago.  Flew into Montego Bay & stayed at an all inclusive in Ocho Rios.  It was beautiful, but if you get 10 feet off the resort, the Jamaican natives are all over to beg for American money.

Hell, that van ride from Montego Bay to Ocho Rios was incredibility bumpy and their roads are horrible.  They stopped halfway so people could use the bathroom & order a drink.  Kids were running around trying to sell us pot.  Was sad to see.

I realize mal-chick is impervious to fact and logic, but the reason Jamaican criminals get most of their guns from the US - if that actually is the case - is that the US is closer than Russia, China, or EuroLand. Mal-chick would do better to be working on getting the Jamaican government to get murderers off Jamaican streets as permanently as possible, rather than whinging about the tools they use and where they get them.
