HE looks like a greenie, for sure.



Savannah is heavily Democratic.  However, from what I've heard from some Democrat customers who shop there, and some co-workers, they don't like the fact that Barrow has sided with Republicans on several issues, hence the push by Regina Thomas to oust him.

I met a retired State senator (Dem) who had gone into the insurance business -- I was there to install some equipment for him.  The man was a people-working machine. 

I think the highest-ranking politician I've ever met was our US Senator Johnny Isakson, at a College Republican Leadership conference in Atlanta.  He was very friendly, and welcoming.  ( Of course, if Georgia Republicans want to get things done in this state, kiss some GACR ass and we'll help you.   :innocent:  )
