But if we enact single payer, your taxes will go up!
All I have to say to that is that anyone who prefers a $900/month "premium" to a $200/month "tax" shouldn't be allowed outside without adult supervision.
Ah, so the primitive sets up a false scenario where one either pays $10,800 a year in insurance premiums or $2400 a year extra in taxes, and then proclaims those who can't see how much better off they would be "shouldn't be allowed outside without adult supervision."
If a simple $2400 a year was all it took for an individual to put into the insurance pool in order to cover medical expenses, the insurance companies wouldn't be needing $10,800 a year from someone. That individuals now paying $10,800 could suddenly start paying only $2400 and everything still work out OK doesn't add up. Besides, isn't there a law now that if a certain percentage of collected premiums isn't used for medical care, then the portion above that has to be reimbursed to the insured? So given what you claim is all anyone should have to put into the pool per year is only $2400, someone paying $10,800 should be getting back a pretty hefty check, and that's even with all the leeches who are currently contributing $0 into the pool and still getting their medical expenses covered.
FISH.
BARREL.
BOOM!!!
There's other things that also shoot down this primitives worthless example, but this one is enough.
Look eridani primitive, not everyone is as stupid and gullible as you are.
