Eventually you run out of other people's money
« on: October 17, 2015, 11:20:20 AM »
In the real world you will eventually run out of other people's money but not in leftist fantasyland.  There will always be banksters and robber barons with shiny piles of money up for grabs.

Illinois will delay pension payment, citing cash shortage

http://www.chicagobusiness.com/article/20151014/NEWS02/151019927/illinois-cash-shortage-means-late-pension-payments

Illinois will delay payments to its pension fund as a prolonged budget impasse causes a cash shortage, Comptroller Leslie Geissler Munger said.

The spending standoff between Republican Governor Bruce Rauner and Democratic legislative leaders has extended into its fourth month with no signs of ending. Munger said her office will postpone a $560 million retirement-fund payment next month, and may make the December contribution late....

“This is just the tip of the iceberg,” said Ralph Martire, executive director of the Chicago-based Center for Tax and Budget Accountability, which monitors Illinois finances.

“Every month they go without resolving the impasse on the budget means it’ll cost more to ultimately resolve it,” Martire said. “This is a natural, predictable consequence if you do something called math.”

All that the primitives had to see was the phrase Republican Governor Bruce Rauner and that told them all they needed to know about this situation.  Rayner only took office in January of this year but it's all his fault according to the primitives.  The primitives often talk about wishing the republican party would just go away but here they see why it's to their advantage to keep one around to blame when their leftist plans inevitably fail.

1. So pensioners will still be paid out of existing fund accounts.

This is just Illinois doing more of the same that got the pensions in trouble in the first place.
Rauner--(!)-- I'm sorry, I can't think of anything vile enough to say about him.

Rauner takes one dollar per year in salary from the state of Illinois and he's vile?
Michelle Obama gets $300,000 a year for creating a patient dumping scheme for the University of Chicago Medical Center and she's beloved.

4. The State Can't Even Pay Lottery Winnings Over $600 - This Is The Result Of Electing A.....

businessman as Governor. Rauner is running this state into bankruptcy. You can't have a businessman that never worked in government run a state or a country because the businessman wants to run it like a CEO of a company where he/she has all the power. A businessman doesn't know how to compromise.

So heed that warning my fellow Americans - if Donald Trump becomes the Repug nominee - think about what Rauner has done and is continuing to do to the State of Illinois and extrapolate that into how Trump will run this country.

Rauner - talked much like Trump is talking now. Rauner did not provide the people of Illinois with any details as to how he would govern Illinois. It was more like - I'm a businessman and I know how to turn this State around.

Well folks - look what this guy has done to this State. He is running it into the ground.

When his term is over - he goes back to his former 'rich 1% life and he will leave this State in more financial turmoil than it was in before he was elected. It will be us - the People of Illinois - that will do the suffering.
When I was growing up in northeast Iowa, we used to drive over to East Dubuque, IL to buy lottery tickets.  It'll be a cold day in hell when I buy another.

7. And curses to the fools who stayed home and voted for no one.

And curses (at least mild oaths) to me for not dragging them out of their homes to the polls.
Because that's what Illinois needs, more leftist solutions.

8. Because retired people can just **** off and die, right?

That would leave all those shiny piles of pension and social security money up for grabs.

Big shiny piles of money?

This was going on under DEMOCRAT Pat Quinn, you morons!  Rauner just was elected, he's trying to fix Quinn's mess.  Kind of why he got elected & tossed Quinn out.

You see, idiots, this is why we laugh at you.  If blueconomics were working so wonderfully, why was this even allowed to happen?  Because it was hidden, lied about, pushed on down the road and blamed on non-existent entities.

It's deeper and lot longer than that, but essentially, yes.

True. Far too complicated for DUmp monkeys to comprehend.

While I no longer live there, I still follow things closely.  Until Roe Conn (among others) got the boot, listened to WLS almost every day at work.

:thatsright: :banghead: Since I'm a Westerner who's seldom been east of the Missouri River, I had to check. Gov. Rauner's been in office for 5 days longer than 9 months, and DU-folk actually he's to blame for God knows how many decades of Illinois' fiscal irresponsibility?!!! :banghead: :thatsright:

If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Other than downstate & Western Illinois, I wonder who has been running the state for decades?

Something recently has made me wonder about Rauner. Evidently, Chicago is in bad enough shape with their pensions, that they will need a bailout from the state.

Rauner said that this might be an opportunity to force the democrats to settle the state budget by helping Chicago. How is throw any money down that Chithole of a city going to save any money in the bigger picture?

Rahm has been crying poor since & probably before he was reelected.

Madigan won't strike deals. He is a slimy jerk.

My buddy from downstate thinks everything north of I-80 should be pulverized.  Sometimes I agree.

I hope this doesn't affect my BIL's cop pension from IL; he and little sis decamped several years ago to Fort Worth so as to avoid the sewer of Chicago (yeah he policed THERE) and let's just say he carried a concealed weapon 24/7 and still does.  Same with sis.  She also made second team for the 1984 Olympics in air rifle.  I pity the fool who thinks to break in where they live.  And that's although they don't have any dogs since he's allergic.
My dogs, on the other hand, love raw meat.  But, I live in a very safe neighborhood, so they just have to settle for rawhide.  It's insane, because there's a major drug trafficking route 3 miles south of us where the illegals bring up bodies and drugs from Mexico every night and my friends living south of that road sleep locked and loaded under their pillows.  BP helos fly overhead quite often.  It's insanity what this once proud nation has been reduced to with our laws flouted and our ****wit politicos more concerned with the FEELINGS of criminal aliens than with the RIGHTS of legal citizens.
Illinois residents, I hope to hell the decent among you can relocate, or that your newly elected governor can rectify the Chicago crime syndicate.  Because, just like every other state in crisis, the problem can be laid fair and square at the corrupt, minority dominated and Tammany Hall style Dem political machine.
Sneaking into a country doesn't make you an immigrant any
more than breaking into someone's house makes you part of the family.
