While it is true, that neither a state.gov account or this one should have ever had any classified information, even the leaking of details of her travel could have put her and others at greater risk if someone had found the impact.

Not to mention, as soon as Bloomenthal's email was hacked - it should not have been hard to figure out who H was on clintonemail.com!

Not only was it proven there was nothing secret on her emails, she was not hacked. Ok, they didn't put in all the detail required to make it more secure. So friggin what!!!! Life goes on.

Why don't they just leave her alone. By the way, drop the Bengazi crap too. 8 times and she's clean? It's unbelievable what the right will do to make an issue out of NOTHING!!!!

And to those who say "nothing was MARKED", do you need something to be marked to know not to say it? Should troop movement timetables for D-Day have been published prior to the op? I'm sure somecopy somewhere wasn't marked.

Better question, DUmmies: If Trump had a homebrew email server in his guarded mansion that had classified info on it, what would you be saying?

Wrong. Archive.org captured it. Granted : it produces a blank page - which makes some sense as it wasn't used for web traffic, but it <<IS>> there.

The simple fact that an automated web-crawler found the server makes it clear that it WAS known to exist. - even back in 2011. Don't believe me, DUmmies ? Look for yourself.

Edited to add : - I forgot to mention that with the server delivering a blank page when crawled is more than enough to tell me it was horribly misconfigured. There should have been <NOTHING> coming out of port 80 (the default web page port) at all. Delivering a blank page instead of a standard error 105 (name not resolved) makes it clear to anybody interested that there is something there.

Ummm, somebody's not been paying attention to the news. Scores, if not hundreds, of emails turned over have been found to have classified info in them.

Further, the kinds of hackers who would want to hack into Tsaritsa CHILL's server for the sake of information would not leave calling cards. In fact, they would leave as little trace of their presence as possible, so as to be able to come again and again and ... .  IOW, unless several of the very best security experts have checked her system thoroughly and found it clean - with no gaps - saying it wasn't hacked is empty stupidity.

How, how, how does one person get so damned ignorant?

If they got into the email accounts of any of her correspondents, they'd immediately get HER email addy and its domain name (If not her server IP, depending on the method of initial penetration).  The attacker does not know or, usually, care where the server is physically located.  From that point, it's off to the races for the hacker.

It appears her server had such shitty security precautions that I have no confidence the investigators will actually be able to tell whether highly-skilled attackers, like the PLA, ever got into it or not, but given their relentless and pervasive attempts to penetrate our Government systems, it wouldn't surprise me to find out the Chinese were reading them before she did.
