Personally, I love the back and forth. I love the MY person is better than YOUR person. It's fun. It's a horse race. If everyone agreed on everything every time, at every moment; there'd be no ****ing reason to ever talk.

I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight. I know there are people who will toss and turn because of what they read on DU. I sleep like a baby EVERY night. I know there are people who toss and turn every night because of what they believe, and there was someone who disrespected what they believe... every night.

Believe what you need to believe... but please don't think the world is going to end because someone else believes different. It ain't. Ain't... ain't, ain't. It'll still be here the day after your hopes and dreams are dashed, and will go on as if no one even knew what your dreams were.

Most importantly... remember what George Carlin said: "It's a big club, and you ain't in it."

DU is not real life. It's a discussion board. Find out how many people are registered DU members. Find out how many of those registered members post regularly. You're angry because the population of Norwalk, California disagrees with you?

No you're not.  Hillary has her own team, if she thought she could get to power by declaring herself a Whig and putting the Democrats in camps, she'd do it.  Bernie is closer to the actual Populist giveaways you DUmmies want, and I have to give it to him that he is at least straight-up even if I disagree with a lot of what he wants, but even he isn't actually a mainstream Democrat.

Ummmm ... no, DU-folk aren't. And they've been proving and demonstrating that obvious fact for months. As has Tsaritsa CHILL. The CHILL started the whole Birther thing some 8 years ago, when BHO and the MSM steamrollered her right to be President. Do DU folk really believe she isn't even more desperate now? Do DU folk really believe BLM's sudden disruptions of Sanders events and equally sudden cessations of those disruptions were coincidences? Especially in the context of BLM people having met privately and non-disruptively with Tsaritsa CHILL?

DU-folk haven't learned something basic from 20th Century political history. Stalin - the prime example - hated capitalist nations, but when the existence of the USSR was on the line, he allied with them. It was socialist rivals like Trotsky (a Marxist) and Hitler (a non-Marxian socialist) that Stalin fought and hounded to death. IOW, in the world of political ambition almost-but-not-quite rivals garner as much or more hatred as near opposites.

A bit, more of an homage than anything else, though.  CherokeeProg's been there a long time, and occasionally has lucid moments and flashes of clarity that pretty much rule out being a Pitt doppelganger.

Look injunprog, just try and explain how a bunch of bern-outs who view Billary as a corporate whore are going to vote for her? Oh sure, on your little island you'll have a bunch of them saying they'll hold their nose and vote for her. But a lot of that is just so they don't lose their valued place on Skin's site. For all the bern-outs who aren't on the island, and even those who are but will never admit to it, a lot of them will never vote for her.

So no, you may all not like Republicans and/or conservatives (two identities that are not necessarily the same), but you are not on the same team. Between Billary, the bern-out, and slo-Joe, the Dems may be putting up a candidate their own can't really get behind, but that everyone normal has decided they want anybody other than one of them.
