for the last month or so. The "shitty game" is the one that has FINALLY lead to the unmasking of a certain cadre of white progressives who are every bit as hostile to mainstream black thought and opinion as white conservatives.

The unmasking is not to people of color. It's to other white people, particularly other progressives who have convinced themselves (and themselves alone) that it is simply impossible for a white liberal to be a racist. People of color have known that to be untrue since white liberals existed which is why every black leader has spoken almost as harshly about white liberals and white moderates as they do white conservatives.

So we find ourselves in a situation where black people have had to endure the most horribly, racist invective for the crime of interrupting a candidate for president's speech. And some people, such as yourself, have decided that instead of calling out the people who engaged in this hateful, harmful exercise -- the vast majority of whom fit a very specific criteria, WHITE SANDERS SUPPORTERS (even though judging by DU, there are a handful of black folks so pissed at black people that they are happy to join in the racist ****wittery as well) -- you've decided to direct all of your ire at the people who are actually calling the racism and the paternalism out. When you're not pretending that a handful of brown people at a rally constitute a "multi racial" event.

What you don't seem to understand is that this is not just DU doing this. The ENTIRE ****ING INTERNET is calling these people out. They have been called out by EVERYBODY. The folks on DU that are pretending that this behavior is just a bump in the road or the work of trolls have their heads in the sand and are flat out lying to themselves. Some of you were not around for 2008... so you do not remember. But the war between the then Clinton supporters and the Obama supporters got bad. There were many bruised egos. Hell, when she finally conceded, some left in a huff creating the Party Unity My Ass, PUMA for short.

What I am seeing on this site makes that looks like a pikers vacation. Some folks are throwing divisive shit, trying to get people to react. Some are just calling people names (on all sides mind you)...

Some of us do not care who the **** you vote for. Hell, it is none of your business who I vote for... it is that simple... that secrecy is guaranteed by LAW. But what is happening here... well the scabs from 2008 are now off, the wounds are getting deeper... and it might tear a few folks away from Democrats.

Keep doing this, and I can predict this war will be nuclear. I can also predict this site will not heal.
