Wisconsin man creates beautiful 4-mile-long sunflower memorial to his wife
After Babbette Jaquish lost a 9-year battle with cancer, her husband wanted to honor her in a remarkably beautiful way:
A few miles southwest of Eau Claire, where corn and soybeans normally kiss the edges of the road, now stands a 60-foot-wide sunflower strip – four-and-a-half miles long.
"She's always loved flowers, but sunflowers were her favorite," says Don Jaquish, who planted the sunflowers as a tribute toBabbette, the wife he lost last November to cancer.

The DUmp should start a gofundme scam right now for a memorial to the Big Guy.
Can you imagine how beautiful it would be to have a strip from Bellevue to Lincoln?
Instead of sunflowers, in memory of the Big Guy it would be fifty miles of bacon.
Nebraska businesses might be inlined to chip in, since "Fifty Miles Of Bacon" could become a great tourist attraction.
There's no time to spare, so they need to get started if it's going to get done.
