Was watching an old movie last night, "The Grapes of Wrath". Got me to remembering. Back during the "dust bowl" days, wasn't there a time when California had police stationed at there state line/border to stop the "Okies" and other unemployed U.S. citizens from entering California?
I'm pretty sure I'm correct about that. My, my, how California has changed about unemployed immigrants....citizens or otherwise.
