Quote
DEVELOPING –  A crazed gunman armed with an automatic weapon and a shotgun fired on officers outside Dallas Police Headquarters early Saturday morning before he was believed killed by a police sniper following an hours-long standoff.

Dallas Police Chief David Brown said at press conference hours later that the gunman ranted in a 911 call about killing cops and came within seconds of doing so in the case of two officers.

“We barely survived the intent of this suspect,” Brown said.

The perp has been identified as James Boulware.

He has been in trouble before.

CNN anchor Fredricka Whitfield during a discussion on the Dallas shooting referred to the gunman as: "It was very courageous and brave...."

The next day, she made a weak attempt @ an apology.  Mediaite is calling it a "non-apology":

"And yesterday, during a segment on the Dallas Police Department attack, I used the words courageous and brave when discussing the gunman. I misspoke. And in no way believe the gunman was courageous nor brave. And I’ll be right back.” (cuts to commercial)."

Who would ever think of this as a sincere apology?  Boulware was trying to assassinate police, & she thinks this is brave?  Hey, CNN, where's the outrage?

She won't be publicly criticized because not only is she anchor on a liberal media show, but because she's a protected class.

& I'm predicting it'll be all quiet from politicians or our esteemed leaders.  Police bashing, again, how much more can we take?
