15. It ain't just the one word with me. It's the pattern I've seen of debunked pieces and doubling down.

The other night I checked into the Greatest Page which is where I usually go. I kept trashing threads, most were obvious, willfully ignorant hit pieces that didn't meet logic, civics, or standards of common sense.

And a line up of newbies saluting every one as if they were all in the same room together, one after another. That's how they make the Home page in Trending. That goes far and wide as if it's the Democratic opinion, and none of them are Democrats.

It's like a battered person coming back for more because they don't know better or have no choice. We are being abused and used.

I left the website I was at before for a decade and came to DU... not after being called a baby killer, n-lover, etc. Not even after shock postings and the GOP Admins not stopping it. They knew it'd drive away the women and the Dems, and it did.

It was after a thorougly racist, woman hating, rape enabler and apologist, who kept on raining down death threats, posted a whining apology thread. Asked all of us, did we really think he was a bad human being?

No one had done so, didn't even call him on his hypocrisy of going on Medicaid after his racist comments about that. We just told him why what he was saying was wrong. What happened then was what I see is going to happen here at DU:

A procession of what I thought were good liberals, progressives, Democrats, etc. all lined up and each one of them from the bottom of their bleeding liberal hearts, told him no, he wasn't a bad human being, and understood his problems.

I quit posting after that. Not that I hadn't considered his problems and all of that, offered solutions, etc. Been friendly, but said he was wrong.

Because IMHO, if you wish death on women and all minorities, call for their being disenfranchised and punished throughout their entire for the accident of birth of being what they were, YOU ARE A BAD PERSON. Period. EOM.

There is forgiveness. There is also forgetting. One may forgive, but one is a damn fool is they offer their back for a pat and then think after repeated abuse, that hand isn't bearing a knife. Forgetting is a cop-out, and can be fatal.

So sue me.

You know, on one hand, Skippy's getting no less than what he deserves, when it comes to his fellow primitives turning their backs on him.  After all, that's exactly what he did to walrus-face two years ago.....and one needs to remember that walrus-face had considered Skippy one of his bestest friends ever on Skins's island.

So yeah, what's sent around comes back around again.

But the case of Wills, the William769 primitive, is overmuch.  All these years, Wills acted as if he had nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for Skippy, never a negative word about him--but now this.
