Why the acronym? John Ellis Bush wants to be "JFK" ?
Is it just a cutesy frat boy thing -- Jeb (?)
And why do the rest of us have to call him by this frat boy name? If we call him "Jeb Bush" aren't we really saying "John Ellis Bush Bush"?

But do you remember when the perpetual septuagenarian John Kerry decided in 2004 that he suddenly needed to be known as John FORBES Kerry? Yeah, I do too. And I recall that for a couple of months DU was larded down with "JFK" shorthand in hopes that Lurch could ride that into the White House.
Well, that ride went for him about as well as Mary Jane Mary Jo Kopechne's went for her, although her case was sad and tragic and his was a cause for great celebration.
Remember your DU history, DUmmies.
Why anyone would want to invoke the memory of JFK, anyway, is beyond me.
