3. They equate it with laziness and lack of self control

and we are all taught as children that those things are bad.

Only to a Proglodyte could sloth and self-indulgence be contemplated as virtues.

5. The look of disgust I got from a "perfect specimens" couple

In an outdoor mall at a coastal tourist trap, I was sporting T-shirt, shorts, flips, and my belly. Coming toward me was a couple with the cookie cutter "perfect" bodies. Revulsion passed over their faces at the sight of me.

8. DU has a split personality on this topic

Lots of snorting righteous indignation about sizism and fat shaming when the topics come up, then "fat" constantly used as a synonym for stupid or ineffective and useless whenever RW types, especially white ones who don't live in the central districts of major cities, are described or when a caricature for feckless inutility is needed.

9. Fear

of becoming what they hate. I remember back in the late 70's a poll asked college graduates what they most feared:
nuclear war
being unsuccessful with their career/life
death by a horrible disease
becoming fat
You only get one guess which one won.
The very saddest part of this is that the discrimination is rampant in the medical community.

You hate that which you fear because you hate it.

And I bet they think that is actually clever.

It was probably your gray pony tale.  That is a sign you are a libtard.

IT'S not feeling superior to look down on a fat one.  I used to be 250# and I was disgusting, lazy, and selfish.  People look at fat people in disgust because they can't understand why someone would want to live that way.  No energy, food dictates your daily life, health problems, hygeine, etc.

I hate gaining weight.  I feel horrible and uncomfortable.  The "In" thing now is to say "I love myself just like this" but that's a load of manure because you know if you wanted something bad enough you would get it. NO ONE WANTS TO BE FAT.  I wanted to look good and I lost my weight through self discipline.  Try it some time. I bet you will feel better about yourself.

Wait isn't it the Progs that are trying to dictate what and how much we eat?

Isn't it the Libs that are hand wringing about the number of fat people alarmingly on the rise in the U.S.?
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

You should be used to it, by now.

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

Some people just naturally incline towards settling for mediocracy or less.
Sad but true and just a component of human nature.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

To get more out of life, the person would have to take responsibility for their actions, and that is too much to ask of a lot of people.
