A poll worker bouncy...

Serving as a poll worker today. "Benghazi" and "Obama bought votes" from 2 GOP poll workers.

It is a slow election day in a suburban precinct. Just a school levy on the ballot so very light turnout so far.

Poll workers are mostly retired. We avoid talking politics for the most part both because we're supposed to and because we know we'll disagree and have to work together for a 14-hour day.

Out of the blue one republican worker said that she could never vote for Hillary because of Benghazi and "letting that ambassador get tortured and killed". When I said I disagreed and we shouldn't be talking about that she seemed to realize she had stepped over the line.

Another one stated that "Obama's people" bussed in voters in Cincinnati in 2008 and 2012 and paid them to vote - like it was an established fact. Again when called on it she did stop.

These are both really nice women who are a pleasure to work with and talk to in every other way. Just amazing to get a brief glimpse of the world they live in.

I have been voting for years and never ever seen or heard anything like this. BTW, I know you all thought this thread was about torchy.  :-)

Every time I vote I go to the poll worker that looks the dirtiest and smells the worst and ask him how they know that I'm not voting multiple times or that I am who i say I am. It always gets them hot and bothered. then I leave.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I do that too!  Well I don't look for the dirtiest one but if they don't ask me for ID or something seems shady I start asking lots of questions. They do get pissy don't they?

In the PRNY, they make you sign your name, then compare the signature to the one on file.  They do not ask for photo ID.  I show it anyway.

Where are the bushes, cops jumping out of them, and the crowd applauding?  :)

Don't get stuck on stupid...

I am of the CauCajun persuasion...  :-)

Leftwing lunatic thought process concerning police: I'm armed with bad breath and body odor. The police are armed with a badge, a tazer, a 9mm, and a shotgun.  I should antagonize them.

Comrade her in PRC, no compare signature. You just sign and cast glorious vote for glorious democrat commissar.

No shit, sometimes I sign left handed and still get a ballot. I'm near a college and have seen at least 300 provisional ballots being arranged for young skulls of mush t cancel my informed vote out. Amazingly not too many Spanish speaking people though. It's the young white ones that are ready to **** the system over because the professor said it was cool.

That's what so many of us are dying to know.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.
