DUmmie spins a health care bouncy

Want to know why we're screwed regarding healthcare?

Had a sinus infection week before last and had a show to that weekend so I needed an antibiotic fast. Went to the local Urgent Care, was in there for about 20 minutes. Doc saw me for all of 5 minutes. Agreed with my opinion that it was a sinus infection and prescribed the antibiotic (I had had a sore throat, so he did a throat culture to rule out strep).

Got the bill today:

Urgent Care: $316.00
Lab: $63.00
Physician: $285.00
Total $664.00

Six hundred and sixty four dollars for what was an extremely routine office visit. Granted, it was urgent care so I can see a small premium for that service, but that is just outrageous for that kind of health care. Don't even want to think about what the bill would've been had I been seriously ill.

We truly need health care reform from top to bottom.

You have Obozocare. What is the problem?  :whatever:

You went to an emergency room venue.
Odumbo care was supposed to end that.

Last summer I went to an urgent care center, not an ER, with a severe toothache, (so bad I hadn't been able to sleep).  Took about 45 minutes to get seen, but was given prescriptions for an antibiotic and pain killers.

I paid less than $10 for the 2 prescriptions and when i got the bill from the urgent care center, I was shocked. It was $29 and some change.

My question too.

I went pre-Obamacare and it was $65. I went post-Obamacare and it was $95. I'm sure that somehow means that Obamacare is better, but my small conservative mind just kind figure out exactly how it means Obamacare is better.

The DUmmie was sick.  But waited until he HAD to go to a doc.  Waited until the weekend.  Should have gone to a doctor's office during the week.  Would have saved us a lot of money and be would not have been as sick.

I'm forced to buy insurance through my school.  When I went to urgent care, if I didn't have insurance, the visit would have cost me $100 dollars.  Since I had insurance, but hadn't reached my deductible, my visit cost $100 plus my $1800 compelled insurance.

You truly shoved top to bottom health care reform down American's throats when you voted owebuma for president.
Pay for you own routine and urgent care, lib.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

I don't understand why THEY can't understand that every single time you get the government involved in anything, it costs more to the consumer!  You have just added a layer of nothing but bureaucracy!

IE; the government got involved with how appraisals for homes was done.  In our area you could get an appraisal done for $325, all day long.  After the government stuck their fingers in that pie, they went up, instantly, to $450 and are now pushing $500.  Not to mention the appraisal has to be put in a 'pool' and there's no telling where your appraiser is going to come from.  I've had them drive to our area from Waco, TX.  WACO!  That's 3 hours from me!!  What the hell do they know about our market?

Their issue with the whole thing is that they don't think the government goes far enough.  They get pissed at the people they elected because they don't go far enough fast enough in making everything free.

They won't be satisfied until everything medical related costs them nothing...their internet and cell phones are provided to them free...their college education is free...their weed is free and they make $35 an hour flipping burgers.

We've got a whole slice of the population that wants to lay around on their ass and get everything for nothing...and a political party willing to giv it to them for simply voting every couple yeras to keep them in office.
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

Any they bitch about corporations and the Koch brothers buying votes.  Hell, the US government is the largest purchaser of votes in the world!
