The phrase that "many women are irresponsible heartless lying ****s" certainly rings true for many of us who have been betrayed by a female lover, but it has no place on this board because it is an offensive over generalization.

But, somehow saying the same thing about men, with a slur that refers to our genitalia, is kosher? Seriously, you can post an OP that says we need abortion because in general men are dicks?

I am a self avowed feminist. One of my most profound and intense personal beliefs is that gender roles encourage overly aggressive men and overly passive women. Gender is a bunch of medieval BS that we need to get rid of, right along with religion. Women are just as smart and just as talented as men, and are more than capable of competing in any field.

Still, I don't see how forbidding people to refer to any woman as a **** while allowing men in general to be described as dicks is equal.

In fact, it very obviously is not equal. So, if we are true feminists, one side has to give. Either dick is an unacceptable slur or **** is acceptable, it's really pretty simple.
