What's for Dinner, Mon., Jan. 19, 2015

I didn't get my chicken thighs made, so I'm going to start them now. They need to marinate. Black pepper and honey chicken thighs.

I'm also roasting tomatoes and beets, too.

Uh, wouldn't having chicken on Martin Luther King Day be considered racist?

I mean, it's a stereotype of black people after all.

3. We moved today and I haven't really thought about cooking yet.

I have a big meal planned for tomorrow and will probably invite guests. I am going to make a Sopa de Albondigas, which is a meatball soup and a Caesar salad.

Tonight? Possibly quesadillas with ham, cheese and tomatoes and I have a can of Corn Soup. Simple while I settle into the new environment.

8. i am fit to burst

spent the day in va beach and stuffed my face. blt and bloody mary for breakfast, crab and blue cheese stuffed, bacon-wrapped mushrooms and flounder for lunch and black forest cake on the shore of the chesapeake about an hour ago. husband wants to get dinner with a buddy, so i'll just drink.

i hope i can fit into my pants by the time we leave.

I think that only applies to fried chicken Frank. Dummie does not say how he/she/it cooked it so I'm guessing he/she/it baked it. On that train of thought... I like fried chicken. It has animal flesh and grease. That is how animal flesh is supposed to be cooked if it is not cooked over an open fire. In grease. Preferably rendered animal lard grease. I like taters to go with the fried animal flesh too. Preferably smothered in butter made from bovine mammary gland output if not fried. Then to wash it down I like some watermelon. Preferably with some salt on it. Pork rinds are a late nite snack.

I guess I am a racist.

I swear; she's smaller than I am, but it looks as if she's beginning to out-thigh franksolich.  Dope-smoking sure seems to add on padding in the most unusual places.
