Any bets that nothing more will be done?

I'm holding fire until I read about the GCMCA's decision.

I wonder if the military is stalling...at least until they can convict the deserter without an Obama pardon.

MG Dahl, the investigator, submitted his report in mid-October. His report then went through a lengthy legal review. Uh huh. This doesn't make sense -- maybe DAT can weigh in on it.

With the political sensitivities such as they are, why wouldn't an entire BATTALION of lawyers conduct this "lengthy legal review"? Is it solely because of the legal ramifications? These seem pretty well predetermined to me -- is Bergdahl guilty of being AWOL? Or of desertion?

Or is it because Barry instructed DoD to take its sweet time while Bergdahl "recovers from his ordeal"?  :whatever:

According to the link below, Hagel wasn't even briefed on the report results until this past Friday.

Bergdahl is eligible to receive up to $300,000 in back pay -- depending on the results of the investigation and any actions coming out of it.

I would imagine not one of his former unit members were interviewed.

Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer told Bill O’Reilly last week on “The O’Reilly Factor” that, in addition to trading five Taliban leaders from Guantanamo Bay in return for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, the administration also paid $5 billion to the terrorist-supporting nation of Qatar.

This was the 1st I heard of this.

Buy Obama a pair of AIR Jordan sneakers and run him through the ghetto one night.

Anyone hear on Fox news the story reported about the Gitmo terrorist whom owebuma just let go ?
There is a $5,000,000.00 reward on him.
Shouldn't someone be in jail for that move ?

What should happen is that the Commanding General of his post will appoint a field grade officer to conduct an Article 32 hearing - similar to a grand jury but without a panel. The officer will certainly review the report before making a recommendation to the CG on what should be done.

The rumors I've read is that this piece of scum will most likely receive a less than honorable administrative discharge - we don't want the spectacle of a General Courts-Martial for Desertion do we? That would make our beloved Commander-in-Chief look bad. And that cannot be allowed.   :fuelfire:
