Title: What Wee Willie WON'T Talk About
Post by: pjcomix on December 11, 2014, 12:51:32 PM
Sometimes you learn a lot about what is not said or published. During WWII, Isaac Asimov noticed that no new articles about atomic energy were being published when he checked the libraries. From that he deduced that the USA was engaged in producing an Atomic bomb.

Well, have you noticed that Wee Willlie Pitt will loudly pontificate on almost any subject EXCEPT either the Rolling Stone UVA rape case falling apart as well as the Lena Dunham rape allegation in her book also falling apart even though both topics are hot news items right now.

Hmmmm....

The Bostonian Drunkard also has never talked about this:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've been watching Skins's island like a hawk, since the news broke yesterday (Thursday) about a colleague of the Bostonian Drunkard getting into some, uh, trouble.

There's been some campfires on Skins's island about the matter, but conspicuous by his non-presence is the one who knows the former arms-inspector better than anybody else on Skins's island, and out here in the civilized world.

When one's pal is in trouble, one is morally and socially obligated to stick up for him.

Otherwise, one's about as false and fake as a Bela Pelosi promise.

One's lower than dog excresence on the ground, if one doesn't stand up for a pal.

Wee Willie's pal was released from prison about a week ago. No Wee Willie available to greet him upon his return to society.

My guess is that any topic which would mention "school" and "girls" is probably off limits to him.

Okay, so the guy turned out to be a degenerate, not one of the nicest sorts of people; not anybody I'd like to hang around with.

However, the Bostonian Drunkard was a friend of his, and friends stick with friends no matter what.

Now, given the heinous nature of the guy's crimes, it's not reasonable to demand that the Bostonian Drunkard insist, no, he was a nice guy, a decent and civilized guy, and we all just misunderstood him.

It is reasonable however to expect the Bostonian Drunkard to express sentiments such as, "Well, he did the crime, he did his time.  And one hopes that he learned something, and goes on to better things in life."

Something along those lines.

But the Bostonian Drunkard hasn't said a damned thing.

Pitt will also never talk about why he had to resign his teaching job or about when he threatened to hunt down that homeless woman right on the DUmp.
