Parents angry after school tells 13-year-olds they can have sex, choose gender
Students at one northern California high school are learning more than just the birds and the bees.
Along with local area groups, some parents are irate that their children’s sex ed class at Acalanes High School in Lafayette is being taught by employees of Planned Parenthood without their prior knowledge. They are also fuming over the methods and materials being used, including a checklist that asks students if they are “ready for sex†and another worksheet that describes how to give and obtain consent, as well as a diagram that uses a "genderbread" person for lessons in gender identity.
“[Parents] are very concerned,†Brad Dacus, president of the Pacific Justice Institute, a non-profit legal organization that is assisting the concerned parents, told FoxNews.com. “Planned Parenthood is not exactly the best when it comes to putting young people first.
“They get more grants from the promiscuity of children,†he added. “The material they have provided was material that mirrored their agenda.â€

Planned Parenthood is an evil organization, founded by an eugenicist. It's no secret that PP makes their money on abortions. With the abortion rate decreasing, they need more clients. Sexualizing and encouraging promiscuity in our naïve youth is surly one way to do that.

The government also promotes it through funding and lots of organizations, besides Planned Parenthood, are involved.

Hmmm. You've been around CC long enough to know that when somebody says "Show Me" in response to a claim - that being your claim that "it's (whatever THAT is) slowly been creeping into all the schools."
And then you go on to say, "some states have recently passed laws..." - that what that person is looking for is substance to the claim that's being made.
Show me (provide a link) that says that other school districts are presenting "genderbread" bullshit, encouraging kids to have sex, and the rest of this horseshit that's tied to PP.
Yeah, I get the fact that PP is all over the damned country, festering, oozing, pus-ridden sore that it is. But show me that other school districts have actually brought in PP to "educate" their kids.
In other words, convince me that Commiefornia really isn't the train wreck that it appears to be and that what PP is doing in that hellhole of a state really isn't that common.
In other words, it's your opportunity to sell your state. Go for it.
I don't give a damn about whether or not your family is parked there. Makes no difference to me -- adults live where they choose to live and they suffer the consequences of those decisions.

Well, MO has a law, passed in 2007, that banned PP from PS Sex Ed classes. Whether that law is enforced and obeyed is another question, but I'll ignore it. OTOH, regarding PP and several nearby states' schools:

Your first link makes clear that PP is not permitted in Missouri public schools. Period. Glad you made my case for me. Here's the policy:
MISSOURI
Missouri Sexuality Education Law and Policy
Missouri law does not mandate sexuality education; however, in order to be accredited, school districts must teach HIV/AIDS-prevention education in elementary and middle school.
All instruction in human sexuality must be medically and factually accurate. It must also:
[P]resent abstinence from sexual activity as the preferred choice of behavior in relation to all sexual activity for unmarried pupils because it is the only method that is one hundred percent effective in preventing pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases [STDs] and the emotional trauma associated with adolescent sexual activity, and advise students that teenage sexual activity places them at a higher risk of dropping out of school because of the consequences of sexually transmitted diseases and unplanned pregnancy.
Instruction must also:
[P]resent students with the latest medically factual information regarding both the possible side effects and health benefits of all forms of contraception, including the success and failure rates for the prevention of pregnancy and STDs [and teach students not to make] unwanted physical and verbal sexual advances or otherwise exploit another person.
Although school districts are not required to follow it, the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education produced the Missouri Framework for Curriculum Development in Health Education and Physical Education. This Framework includes instructional guidelines for HIV/AIDS- and STD-prevention education starting at the high school level. School boards must determine the specific content of sexuality education classes and make sure that it is age-appropriate.
The school district must also notify parents and guardians about:
• The basic content of the district's human sexuality instruction to be provided to the student; and
• The parent's right to remove the student from any part of the district's human sexuality instruction.
This is referred to as an “opt-out†policy.

Your third link, which is old dating back to 2010, asserts that certain Iowan parents are highly pissed off about the graphic sex education classes that PP brought to bear in that state. Apparently, PP is still allowed in Iowa, with parental consent (which PP has tried to remove in other places, including Iowa).

In short, what we have here is an organization -- PP -- which hides behind certain arguably "noteworthy" efforts to "educate" young people concerning sex. They do so by putting pornographic images on screen for youngsters.
PP is in the abortion business. You can sugarcoat this all you like, but the fact remains. They kill babies.
PP's annual report 2012-2013 says they get 45% of their money from "Government Health Services Grants and Reimbursements". That's my tax money (federal and state, due to the accounting jigsaw puzzle that makes it difficult to track where the money goes) going to support that criminal organization.

So their own obfuscation and trickery is designed to keep youngsters in the business of having sex, having babies, and eventually aborting them. PP does a great job of hiding behind the complete opposite of what I just described, but I and many others didn't just fall off a turnip truck.
I also note that PP's PAC also donates quite heavily to Democratic candidates, including Barry.

So, you didn't notice that PP is working in AR schools? I thought you were challenging Dori to show that PP has such access to schools outside of CA. And AR, the state has been funding what PP does.

So I thought explaining that I am from CA might be of interest to some of those reading this thread: it's called disclosing one's perspectives and biases.
And just to be clear, I am quite unhappy with what CA has become - whether under the MALAdministration of Ds Jerry Brown (both MISIncarnations) and Gray Davis, or under the MISManglement of RINOs Arnold Schwarzenegger and Pete Wilson. Unlike some here, I have not mentally consigned all 30M+ CA'ians to political Hades. There are a lot of good conservative people here. I noticed at least two of the 64 Rs who voted against the spendaholic Cromnibus are Rs (do I have to point out that they were voted into office? multiple times?).

Apparently you didn't catch my statement about the legislation that you yourself asked about was voted down in AR, thereby subjecting the citizens of that state to more PP bullshit.
With luck and a really strong downwind, Missouri's example can somehow spill over into KS, despite their long-term rivalry. Might even be good to migrate north to Iowa too.

Not all Republicans have left California, a lot of us made our homes here, started businesses here, raised our families and still put up a fight. Too bad others didn't. Although our numbers have been declining, we still have 15 Republicans left in the House, more than a lot of states have, and big enough to flip the power in congress.
