Be interesting to see how this turns out.

Just from the early returns that are posted, this could be ugly... for Landrieu. Cassidy is running about, by my estimate, 30 points ahead of her. Only about 30k votes posted so far, and the only parish she's even close in is East Baton Rouge. Orleans Parish hasn't reported anything yet. Probably waiting to figure out how many votes to "find" in the trunk of some Democrat volunteer's car.

Based on what I've read, Landrieu was toast after the Dem Party pulled the plug on her a day or two after the November elections. They wrote her off and refused to finance her campaign, ergo, she'll do the shithouse swirl.
Good riddance to rubbish.

How about this runoff where over 30% of the low info voters chose to try and elect Edwin Edwards (D).
(Also a former Governor)
Edwards was found guilty on seventeen of twenty-six counts, including racketeering, extortion, money laundering, mail fraud and wire fraud; his son Stephen was convicted on 18 counts.
"I did not do anything wrong as a governor, even if you accept the verdict as it is, it doesn't indicate that," Edwards told the press after his conviction.
On his way to prison he said, "I will be a model prisoner, as I have been a model citizen".
From 2002 to 2004 Edwin Edwards was incarcerated at the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Glad the Republicans have an even stronger way to block Obama and his terrible policies.

Boehner in the House and McConnell in the senate is only slightly better than Pelosi and Reid.
Boehner as already agreed to screw the military again and he is open to giving illegals amnesty in one form or another.

McConnell isn't going to write a budget for the next fiscal year. He plans to continue the Democrats' continuing resolutions/non-budgeted spending. With that kind of leadership, I expect 2016 to be a bloodbath for the GOP in the Senate because they're ****ing worthless.

Democrats are good at exploiting short-term issues for maximum attention. It doesn't hurt that most news outlets are on their side. Their base doesn't tune into long-term economic or Constitutional issues because it doesn't matter to them.
