Should We IMPEACH Chief Justice John Roberts?
I won't even comment on the cut and paste 'story' in the OP. There is nothing to discuss.

1. Yes, but, Scalia should be removed first. n/t

6. How do we get from a sign and T-shirt movement to Impeachment? Impeachment is a power invested in the House. How do we get enough members in the House to Impeach a a sitting Supreme Court Judge?

7. Silly on multiple levels.
First, the question posed: should "we" impeach Roberts isn't the question. "We" don't impeach. The House does and the House is dominated by Republicans who have no interest in or compelling political reason to do any such thing. And "we" -- the same we that got our butts kicked at the polls a few weeks ago -- aren't going to change that in the aftermath of the ACA case.
Second, if a lawyer making predictions about the outcome of a case and then being right is grounds for impeachment, then pretty much every justice and judge in the country should be impeached.
It's sad that this is what Greider has come to.

10. The grounds against Scalia are strongest.
He engages in frequent and flagrant ethics violations that give the strong appearance of basic corruption. The man is so arrogant that a halfway rigorous investigation would probably turn up judicially sufficient proof.
Roberts, Alito, and Thomas can be impeached for abuse of power, of which they're clearly guilty but the argument is more nebulous.
And while this couldn't pass muster as an impeachment, it's my position that Roberts and Alito were never legitimately appointed in the first place because George W. Bush was never President of the United States.
This is why you can never have a reasonable discussion with the DUmpmonkeys. They don't accept reality.

Don't forget the healing white light and 'good vibes'.

Alcee Hastings was unavailable for comment.
And for the Lurkers...YES I know that Hastings wasn't on the Supreme Court...he was however a Federal judge who was impeached and removed...by a Democrat controlled House and Senate I might add. If you want to know what real abuse of power and position is and what it takes to remove someone appointed by the President...he's a great example.

I would like to see the 'Consequences' for Obama's executive fiats be in the form of refusing to docket and vote on confirmation of any of his nominees for the next two years. The Democrats have done that before with both judicial and executive appointments, to a greater or lesser degree, when they were in charge in the Senate and a Republican occupied the White House, particularly so when Reagan was President.
Their ideas on what constitutes judicial misconduct are laughably wrong, there is truly "No 'There' there," Scalia is completely safe for reasons far beyond mere politics.
I was tempted to say something like 'He's smarter than all the DUmmies put together,' but then that would involve treating their intelligence as additive, when all the evidence indicates they get collectively stupider and stupider the more of them there are in a group.
