Title: DU on FSU gunman: "I was hoping he was white!"
Post by: dutch508 on November 20, 2014, 09:03:15 PM
It's a cut and paste OP- not worth bringing it over, but then there is this:

6. Whenever I read such stories I am always hoping the shooter was white.
Every high profile crime by a black man or woman adds
to the so-called justification for that "worst nightmare."
Personally I've always felt safer with a black man than
a white man; and if he was a lawyer with a gun, all the
better. This man was once so beautiful, it's very sad in so
many ways.

There is so much ****ed up in this one post- but we are the racists.

8. Whenever I read such stories I am always hoping for the victims. You have an interesting thought process going on here which shows your own bias.

one low post count DUmpmonkey attempts to bring logic into the converstation but **** YOU! DU!!!

11. Why don't you explain what you mean? "Own bias"? If you want to slur DU members like that, be responsible enough to explain how your thought process brought you to the point you would attack a Democrat here for writing that worthwhile post.

No doubt the new member is being alerted on as we speak.

15. thank you.

I hope it was worthwhile. This is a subject -- personal bias --
that I'm always pondering. Wondering why my gut response
is sometimes or often at odds with my beliefs and best
practices. I see the dregs of racism, not hateful, but just
ignorant, in myself, although I grew up with a liberal
and compassionate attitude toward all.
I see the dregs
of whatever the opposite of feminism is, in myself, and
it surprises me that those thoughts and feelings, reactions,
responses, happen in me. I don't think I am very different
from others but this is something I've always been acutely
aware of. It is a daily effort to pay attention.

uh.... white guilt?

13. I'm not denying my bias or biases, there are so many; intrinsic, often hard for me to identify.

My process is more about a generalized sympathy toward
black males and the unfairness of bigotry.. as was said,
for some it is their worst nightmare, black man with a gun.
I think also the more such shooters are white guys, the
sooner people pay attention to the insanity of the gun
laws.

So basically you want to bring race into the gun control debate- but focus on white crimes (no pun) rather than the majority which is black crimes and more so black on black crimes to proove your theory Whitey is bad?

18. Weird statements being made The thoughts and sympathy should be directed towards the victims, not the shooter. I'm sure they aren't as entranced by his "beauty" as you are. This and the post above it sounds patronizing as hell towards black men. Good and bad people come in all colors, and this nutcase doesn't represent his race.

20. I am not entranced by his beauty. I am sorry for his illness, and sorry that those who believe black men are dangerous now have another on their list.  Are you a black man? Ref your comment about patronizing.

Wow. The "compassionate" liberal upbringing VFP speaks about is really shining through, eh....

I have a small nugget of pity for people who grew up the way VFP did, and I blame the parents. Every generation of liberalism is to blame.

The reason Voice of Puke wanted the shooter to be White was so "She" (See the gravy train thread) could crow about how all these violent mass shooters were eebil White debil 'Publicans, and all their guns need to be taken away with the NRA members thrown in prison.  Same goes for the moron ass-kisser who called it a 'Worthwhile post' - in Realityville it was worthwhile only for showing the Authoritarian stereotyping and racism of the Left.

An excerpt:

WICHITA, Kan. (CBS St. Louis) – Wichita police say a woman was sexually assaulted, hit on the head, and set on fire Monday night in Fairmount Park.

<snip>

Police are still trying to figure out if this was random or if the woman was targeted.  Either way, Livingston called it a “disgusting crime.”

Police are currently searching for a suspect but the only information they have on him is that he is a black male.   :whistling:

That asshole was arrested today. He had previously raped and beaten an older woman, and yet another woman had hit him with a shovel when he tried to rape her.

He perpetuated the stereotype, like a damn sketch artist's rendering. If I was a black man in Wichita, I'd sue the asshole for defamation by association.

Have you guys noticed that almost every one of the high profile shootings in last 9 years have been "When Liberals Attack" incidents ?

I hope somebody is keeping a tally somewhere.  The ones off the top of my head:

The crazy lib flying a plane into the IRS building in Texas
The shooter at the Navy yards
The idiot that shot up the conservative offices in DC carrying a Chic-Fil-A bag
All the Colorado people
Maybe the Sandyhook guy, although he was pretty much just mental.  That situation was a ticking time bomb waiting to go off.
Rep. Giffords buddy.  Some accounts say he was liberal
* The seriously crazy people were also included on this list because despite what the primitives say, it really is their fault and has nothing to do with guns.  Lock up crazy people and crazy people won't do destructive things.

That's what I was thinking too.  Not only do the Dims want the shooters to be white, they also put the blame on the Tea Party and the NRA, when in fact they always turn out to be liberal nut jobs.

I am surprised that she is such a prolific poster.
Unless she is the grass wipe, I haven't noticed her before.
