How to instantly prove conservatives are liars about economics.
Conservative: I stand for people earning their way through hard work, not handouts!
Liberal: So, how do you feel about inheritance taxes?
Conservative: Shut up.
So it's somehow wrong to want your kids to have better than you did and give them a head start in the game of life?

3. And when one person has all the money, it's game over.
Who has all the money? How did they accumulate such wealth? Good ideas? Hard work?

5. What about when inheritance taxes make it too expensive to pass down the family farm? nt
Well this is awkward...

No, that just goes to prove you think what's mine is yours. I can't help it if my parents saved and worked hard through their entire adult life to make sure that their offspring are well taken care of. They started out BOTH from the wrong side of the tracks and worked their way up the ladder and it has paid off. Now why do you think you deserve 55% of my parent's money that they intended for me? I'm proud I have parents that tried. You are a worthless bum.

Ummm, what? The conservative would not say "shut up", he would explain that he opposes inheritance taxes.
The State has no moral claim to a man's property upon his death; it is his to pass on to the beneficiaries of his choice, without paying a tribute to the State. It's called Natural Rights theory.
****ing DUmmytard.

There is a big difference, TBD -
The handouts conservatives dislike are <<GOVERNMENT>> handouts - these are paid for by taxes. Inheritance involves passing earned, previously taxed money and goods to others voluntarily.
-
Liberal: So, how do you feel about inheritance taxes?
TRG: You'd be better off asking a member of the Kennedy family that question.
-
In other words liberals think allowing people to keep money legally earned is a handout.
Let me ask you DUmbass,if what you think is correct then shouldn`t those receiving public assistance value whether it be food stamps, housing etc have to pay a tax on that?
-
In other words liberals think allowing people to keep money legally earned is a handout.
Exactly!
They don't look at it as the government taking money from us in the form of taxes....they lookat it from the perspective of what the government allows us to keep after they take what they need.
-
It's also Biblical to provide for your children, but what primitive would know that? :whistling:

You'd have to find one that actually believed in the Bible.

Inheritance is for conservatives....trust funds are for liberals.

First thing I thought of when I read it; I would never phrase it that way.
"Conservative: I stand for people earning their way through hard work, not gov't handouts!"
Now try your inheritance line, primitive.

And knows how to read.

Did Pitt show up in that thread yet. :whistling:

inheritance taxes are double taxation plain and simple. The items and money being passed down have already been taxed once. Why does the government think it has the right to tax it again?

DUmmy resposne - "because it's fair"
Gov't response - "because it was our money to begin with"

Gawd, you're an idiot. Conservatives are all for people voluntarily doing what they want with their own property, including leaving it to their kids or even giving it away to whomever they want. It's handouts from the GOVERNMENT, which are paid in money involuntarily taken from us, that give us heartburn.
Try that argument, and prepare to have your ass handed to you.

The twisted minds of liberals.
Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) said that the government must cut spending, and then explained that: “Tax cuts are spending.â€
“And that’s the spending that we must curtail as well,†she said.

Precisely! :cheersmate:
My parents did the same. No college, never worked one day for a union. Lived frugally and very well, thank you very much. Worked, saved and invested wisely. Now, they have (combined) 2 Illinois Bell retirements, 1 Navy retirement, 2 SS retirements, 7 figures invested in IRA's/stocks and such and a healthy trust fund established for my downs sister so that we do not have to worry about that.
Yeah, (D)Ummies.... THEY built that. :bird: They paid taxes their entire lives. Not one dollar of government assistance. Are now paying obscene (Cook County ::) ) property taxes. Dues paid. F**k off and die, leeches.

...and has been taxed multiple times already.

Should have read this sooner. :II: At least, twice.

36. Perspective makes all the difference
the different political ideologies are mostly based on viewing the exact same thing in different ways due to subconscious biases.
Lots of trust fund babies actually think what they do is "work". They think that because they have money to "invest", they must have "worked" for it. Assholes.
Ask any of them what's wrong with taxing capital gains and carried interest and dividends as if it was regular earned income from work. Enjoy watching them stumble over their response about things that don't exist like "double taxation".
Lots of trust fund babies actually think what they do is work, huh? Like this DUmmy actually knows any trust fund babies. Do trust fund babies hang out at pop can redemption centers or social security disability offices?
Ask one of them about capital gains taxes the next time you're standing around in line to buy lottery tickets at the convenient store, DUmmy.
The DUmmy watched the movie Arthur and now he thinks he's an expert on trust fund babies.

My God, I hate her. I'm so glad we won both chambers. :yahoo: **** you, Nancy. DUmbasses, you ever connect dots like Nadin told you to?

To see how trust fund babies "work" one need only replay the "occupy" videos.
