Source: Obama to announce 10-point immigration plan via exec action as early as next week
EXCLUSIVE: President Obama is planning to unveil a 10-part plan for overhauling U.S. immigration policy via executive action -- including suspending deportations for millions -- as early as next Friday, a source close to the White House told Fox News.
The president's plans were contained in a draft proposal from a U.S. government agency. The source said the plan could be announced as early as Nov. 21, though the date might slip a few days pending final White House approval.
Obama was briefed at the White House by Homeland Security officials before leaving on his Asia-Pacific trip last week, Fox News has learned.
The plan contains 10 initiatives than span everything from boosting border security to improving pay for immigration officers.
But the most controversial planks pertain to the millions who could get a deportation reprieve under what is known as "deferred action."
The plan calls for expanding deferred action for illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children -- but also for the parents of U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents.
The latter could allow upwards of 4.5 million illegal immigrant adults with U.S.-born children to stay, according to estimates.

And I'm sure he'll start by citing his statutory and/or constitutional authority for such unilateral action... :whatever: ::)
-
And Mary Landrieu should concede her election now.
She's going to lose with this.

These are the true colors of Obama, and he isn't even trying to hide it. Not even a little bit.
This is his temper tantrum. He is acting out of defiance. I don't know what else the explanation could be...
63% of the American populace do not support Amnesty. This will only hurt him and his party, and we can expect the next two years to be full of this.
Most politicians care more for their political careers, their legacies and being loyal to their parties. This man is an ideologue, he is NOT a Clintonian democrat. He could care less for the Democratic Party OR his own legacy with the American People. Deep down inside He sees the midterm elections as a betrayal by the people, but he comforts himself by saying to the public that the whole electorate didn't show up. He conveniently ignores that his own adopted state of Illinois elected a Republican Governor. We can be sure that his veto pen AND his unilateral-executive order-decree pen are going to be very busy for two years.
I made a prediction to my family and friends when he was elected the first time. I said he will exit office the most unpopular president in Modern History. It seems he has a good shot at making that prediction very true.

And no one will stand up and challenge his false claims to be able to do this.

I could almost live with this illegal granting of amnesty, if I knew the next republican president would seal the borders and deport anyone granted amnesty for any crime, even misdemeanors.
Screw the open borders bullshit. We need immigration policies like other countries have, no welfare, no job lined up, you don't come, a sufficient amount of cash that is paid up front for medical crisis that happen.

He's banking on the recipients of the amnesty "thanking" Dems by voting for them en bloc, just like AA voters. To quote LBJ "I'll have those N****** voting Democrat for the next 200 years!"

'We're not going to deport you': Obama announces amnesty for millions of 'anchor baby' parents and illegal immigrant children – as long as they've been in US for five years
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2843174/We-not-going-deport-Obama-announces-amnesty-millions-anchor-baby-parents-illegal-immigrant-children-long-ve-five-years.html
President Obama announced a plan Thursday night to mainstream millions of illegal immigrants with an executive order allowing them to stay instead of facing deportation, bringing howls from Republicans who complained about so-called 'anchor babies' helping their illegal parents remain in the U.S.
The president calmly explained in a 16-minute speech – subtitled in Spanish – the parameters of what angry Republicans are calling a lawless 'amnesty.'
'We’re going to offer the following deal,' he said: 'If you’ve been in America for more than five years; if you have children who are American citizens or legal residents; if you register, pass a criminal background check, and you’re willing to pay your fair share of taxes – you’ll be able to apply to stay in this country temporarily, without fear of deportation.'
Not all illegals are Hispanics and from Latin America. Interesting this happening before the possible grand jury decision in Ferguson.

And he will actually leave office?
Why?

And he will actually leave office?
Why?
Exactly. He's violated and thumbed his nose at so much of the COnstitution already...what's to say he just won't decide via EO to suspend the 22nd Amendment?
It's not like the House or Senate GOP leadership is gonna stop him.

To quote LBJ "I'll have those N****** voting Democrat for the next 200 years!"
This ^, and the fact that it's a message to the new Republican congress; "I'm not working with you no matter what.....go ahead and shut down the government or try to impeach me".
He wants a fight.
The next two years are going to be ugly as hell, and the R's need to be smarter than the petulant child.

He wants the Republicans to vote to impeach him, so the Democrats can use those talking points in 2016.
As pissed off as I am about this usurpation of power, Republicans need to play their cards right.

If they use the 'power of the purse,' they'll be able to do it right.

I'd start with the White House travel budget.

When I hear the msm spout polls that claim the "majority of Americans want action on immigration reform" I laugh.
Yeah. The majority of Americans want the flippin' laws enforced and no more time wasted on what should be a non-issue!

If the polls were going the way they wanted them to the story would be "the majority of Americans favor amnesty/open borders/whatever".
