IRAN MISSILE TEST BLUFF: OLD ROCKETS, BOGUS VIDEO
Fri Jul 11 2008 15:18:02 ET
Many of Iran's claims related to missile tests during "Great Prophet III" war games -- appear to be smoke and mirrors!
The missiles tested DID NOT not have 2,000-kilometer range, the NEW YORK TIMES is planning to report on Saturday.
Iran DID NOT launch a Shahab-3 missile, able to reach Israel.
It was an older missile that was out of production, newsroom sources tell DRUDGE.
And a video showing what appeared to be many missiles being fired -- is actually one missile, filmed from different angles!
NYT's Bill Broad is planning to quote military insiders.
(still developing so more later)

if this doesn't prove that iran is run by lunatics, nothing will.

We really need Ahmadinijad to assume room temperature, then everything calms down organically.

I am just waiting for the story to break . . . .

Profanius 11:6 - "Dummies wept."

Obviously a desperate move by an innocent civilization terrified by the criminal regime perpetrated by George Bush and his puppet masters.
The fact this test was a fake proves only that Iran seeks only its own personal defense and has neither the means nor the intent to threaten its neighbors. It is time for the United States to stop rattling the sabers and beating the drums of war.

Did you actually expect it to get any traction?

drudge blared it . . . I at least expected it to show up someplace . . . . wow.

I dunno.
In the Saturday morning newspapers here in Nebraska, the story made at least the bottom of the front page, at least medium-sized headlines, with an Associated Press credit.
The general public reads things other than just the internet and the New York Times.
