Crist has closed the gap by about 10,000 votes since yesterday

http://enight.elections.myflorida.com/StateOffices/Governor/

Yesterday it was 76,000 and now it's about 66,000. Not that it matters but it looks like Scott's winning margin is even smaller than even in 2010.

BELIIIEEVE!!!!!!!1  Oh wait, just forget it.  Doesn't matter.

1. I Had Heard He Was Going To File A Lawsuite...

As a Floridian and a long time Floridian I find this election very suspicious. I made many comments about what I felt BEFORE the election, how so many people simply couldn't stand him, AND that included many young Repubs. I KNOW they voted for Crist because I have two college age grand children. I especially focused on them to get their views and was pleasantly surprised when many told me they would NOT vote for Scott! I live in a very Red county and assumed they were just going to naturally vote for Scott because of their parents.

That is not what they told me, AND they did say they were voting for Crist. There was no reason for them to tell me who they were going to vote for. I was here in 2000 and know that the outcome has been proven that Gore won. That this race was even as close as reported astounded me. I met very few people who even like Scott.

I do have to say that it's really made me sick because I know what his agenda is! Guess money did it's work here, that's the only other thing I can think of. I just don't think he won "fairly!" If at all.

A "lawsuite" is ten times worse than just a plain old lawsuit.  I can also think of a pretty damn good reason they would tell you they're voting for Crist, and that's to get your senile, geriatric, wrinkled old ass off their back.  Hey, primitive:  They won.  So sit down, and shut up.

2. I hope that turns out to be the case.

A hope I'm hanging onto in light of all the bad news is that some scandals involving Republicans and corruption, bribery, graft, election rigging, etc. start coming out a la 2005-06 which led to our victory in the 06 midterms. That's the best I can hope for.

The best you can hope for it to die quietly in the night.  If your'e feeling froggy, don't let us hold you back from speeding things along, though.

5. There Have Been Reports He Was Going To Be

fined close to 82 MILLION dollars connected to money that was illegal regarding elections! Where did that go? Might have been the other election, just not sure.
Charlie Crist has to know about this! He's a lawyer, backed by many other lawyers so this is weird too.

82 MILLION dollars?  Thank you for your post, Dr. Evil.

3. I have a childhood friend who lives in Sarasota

I asked him a couple of years ago how Floridians could elect a crook like Scott as governor. He said he had no idea -- no one he knew even voted for him (and this guy is a strong Republican).

4. I Know He Didn't Seem To Be Getting Anyway Near

what Jebby got. I totally don't understand any of this. He's such an ODD-BALL and can hardly string sentences together, I don't understand how he was close from day one! I called local office here and was told NO VOTING on Sunday AND Monday before election on Tuesday, even called twice because was trying to GOTV!

The I hear in Southwest FL they DID vote over week-end! And if you know this area, you have to know how RED this place is. When he came here for fund raisers leading up to election we went out and protested outside the "elite" places big dinners that were been held.

For us to mount as many people against him here was encouraging. But that other post about the yard signs being stored in a large warehouse confuses me. No answers to my questions on that. PLUS, the information about Allison Tant to head Democratic Party here in Florida raises questions with me too!

I'm going to try to get some info from MadFloridian who always seems to be a fountain of information about many inside tidbits regarding FL. I just have too many questions, and confess I'm still fuming about Scott being re-elected. He IS truly a crook, but a crook who gets LOTS of help in covering up his past!

Also, we went to Tallahassee to protest against him, we did see him him but he "ducked" away into some room saying he had a meeting, bull crap, but never came back out. Looks even weirder in person too! Not that I'm any looker myself, but his "alien" like look is just strange!
JMHO

You do realize the guy you fielded in this election looks like he bastes himself with orange acrylic paint, right?

6. He conceded the election. And I've seen nothing about a challenge.

I hate the fact that he lost. But he lost.

7. Well Then... Time For THIS Democrat To DOUBLE DOWN!

And I mean DOUBLE DOWN as a DEMOCRAT! Take that statement any way you want, but I'm fed up and SICK of "playing one half of a game!" For sure, Crist wasn't my kind of Democrat, but I voted for him because the alternative was too much for me to take.

Call me all the names you want, and I understand we can't live in the past or expect that kind of legislation these days... BUT AN OLIGARCHY is not an option for me.

Ok, then, I'm going to call you delusional with a side of idiocy, and an extra helping of moonbat.

Have you considered that the DemonRat candidate might be part of your problem?  Once a weasel, always a weasel.  If he changed parties once for perceived advantage rather than ideology or disgust with its stands, what would keep him from doing it again?  Crist is one of the most insincere, self-interested weasels in all of politics, and that's saying something because it's a profession than draws that sort like a corpse draws flies.

The best part of this is that Crist should be viewed as a toxic has-been from now on.

Good lord by what metric did you arrive at that conclusion?

Once?  He was a Republican, changed to Independent then changed again to Demoncrap.  I suppose he'll try to run again as a Libertarian or maybe the green party will take him.

Charlie Crist will just change party again.

Who's up for the revival of the Bull Moose party?

Well, yes, but I regarded the 'Independent' as just a temporary smoke screen and didn't count it, since it obviously wasn't going to get his sorry ass elected to any major office, which is all that matters to him.

Nah.  Word on the interwebnets is that Charlie is a shoe-in if he becomes Charlina.

At least if he did that, the makeup he wears would make more sense.
