The President is being treated with callous disrespect...
With a few hours to think about it, it is shameful the way the Republicans used race as a strategy to win an election. All may be fair in love, war, and politics, but this was beyond the bounds.
And now, the media is acting as if this election is so different from the election of 2008 and 2012. If you recall, the President won a landslide victory, the Democrats won the House by a good majority, and had 59 seats in the Senate. Republicans were demolished.
But what was the response of the Republicans? The Republicans met secretly in a restaurant, with strategists like Newt Gingrich and Frank Luntz, and Mitch McConnell vowed that his number one goal was to make Obama a one-term President. And what was the response of the media at that time?
FOX News and talk radio is attempting to create a stampede to now blame Obama if Republicans do not get their agenda through and the rest of the media is sliding into a crowd mentality of blaming the President. Rush Limbaugh, in a moment of truth, said the election was all about Obama. This morning a caller to C-SPAN said "Republicans hate that n***** Obama". The host hung up on him. But it was plain to see that the election was all about Obama, and the Republicans knew exactly what they were doing. It is a disgrace.

Obumbles won election in 2008 with 52.9% of the vote and re-election in 2012 with 51.0% of the vote.
Hardly "landslides;" conventional political science dictates that a "landslide" is 55+% of the vote, or in other cases, a 10+% spread between first and second place.
