Got to talk myself down. We made it through the Reagan administration. It was rough, but we made it.

<<<doesn't remember anything rough about the Reagan-Bush-Gingrich-Bush prosperity; maybe the primitive's thinking of the Carter years?

13. We made it through the way a prime rib makes it through the digestive tract.

All the nourishment squeezed out of us, nothing left but shit.

14. I remember being a total nervous wreck the whole time...

I was literally sick to my stomach as the Religious nuts were released on us during that era....

I hated the creep...and then Bush 1.

I worked on the Clinton campaign and that election night, my fellow teacher and I ate pizza, tallied the electoral votes and literally wept with joy.

The next 4 years I felt SAFE as a woman, ironically...and even after Lewinski, I STILL felt safer with BC than I would with any shit Republican...

Then came 2000...that, to me, is like the Kennedy Assasination..downhill from there!

Gloria is hysterical. What did these big bad republicans do to you?  Name one thing that affected your life that they took away from you. You people are children.

As I recall those years you had to be hiding under a rock in order to not have a decent paying job and be a productive member of society.

It's possible that kelliekat44 remembers that too and is afraid that she may have to become self-supporting and responsible for herself.

I'm sure most DUmmies shudder at the thought.
