CANADIAN TOWN CANCELS TRICK-OR-TREATING OVER POLAR BEAR FEARS

Polar bears have ruined yet another holiday. The town of Arviat, located in Canada’s Nanavut territory, has cancelled trick-or-treating this Halloween over fears of polar bear attacks on children.

Arviat wants its residents to celebrate Halloween indoors, marking the first time the town has ever prevented kids from trick-or-treating outdoors on Halloween– which falls during polar bear season.

“Picture 1,200 kids going door to door in Arviat in the middle of polar bear season,” Steve England, Arviat’s senior administration officer, told CBC News. “It’s a pretty obvious conclusion of what tragedies could come out of that. We’re just trying to safeguard the younger population by offering an alternative.”

*Progressives promised that global warming would cause the extinction of the polar bear, which would have protected those poor Eskimo kids from the threat of being eaten on Hallowe'en.

The trick is to run a gauntlet of purportedly extinct polar bears for your treat. now that's trick or treat for keepsies.

A little off topic perhaps but up state S.C. had a couple of inches of snow yesterday, earliest snow fall ever recorded.....did Al Gore pass through S.C. yesterday?

Wait, I thought ManBearPig said all the Polar Bears were dead because of Glowballs Warming.

Now I'm confused.

They said that all the Artic caribou would disappear because of the oil pipe lines in Alaska.  Instead, they huddled around them and their numbers multiplied.
