4. Yeah, that excuse that he was driving around in San Diego
and "accidentally" crossed the border was dumbfoundingly stupid. All roads from California into Mexico are well marked and there are signs, lots and lots of signs, not to mention customs. He's got PTSD? Well, then, he needs treatment. What he doesn't need is GUNZ.

3. Is that the guy who drove into Mexico with guns in his car?
The same guy who got the teabaggers all excited and mad because Obama wouldn't go get him from Mexico?
Yeah, next time, don't take guns into Mexico. They have signs advising against it.
Now Bergdahl--the shitbird that Barry traded five high level Taliban terrorists for:

80. Bravissimo Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, American Hero!
This brave young American Hero has seen through the lies and propaganda
of the war criminal Dubya and his vile cohorts.
Their greedy capitalist attempts to steal Middle Eastern oil and illegally intervene
in 'The War in Afghanistan' must cease . . . Now and Forever!

64. Well said. Welcome home, soldier.
You've served your country well, unlike the chickenhawks who send young men to die in their pointless wars (i.e. Bush).

I swear these idiots must watch RW news and whenever an issue pops up, they take the opposite side.

I hate to say that I agree with the La Taz Hot DUmmy in that his story stinks. It's very hard to believe that he accidentally crossed the border, especially when records show that he used that same border crossing to go to TJ several times in the months prior to his arrest. I don't know what he was up to, but I'm glad that he was released and is now home.

It's a weird story...the only way it makes sense is if he just tuned out and was driving on autopilot until he realized he just passed the last exit before the checkpoint. Likely would have breezed through Mexican customs and immigration if there were even a blanket over the guns, and he turned himself in immediately without even waiting to see if they were going to search his vehicle. The only other explanation that makes any sense from the facts is that he has some weird plan which would make sense only in his own PTSD world but thought better of it when it was too late to turn around. Either way, impairment from PTSD seems to be behind the entire incident.
Wasn't one of the guns an AR? If he was just moving to CA, I'd give odds it wasn't a Kali-legal one in the first place, so in the long run maybe this turned out better for him than being caught with it there...a Kalifornistan judge would not have let him off a felony gun rap for humanitarian reasons.
