Oh my.

One suspects this is the last piece of good news the big guy's going to receive for a while.

I just got my health insurance rates for next year....

Down. It is only a small amount. But it is DOWN. It had been going up in double digits every year for years, even with a great union contract.

I can't figure out what has changed this year that might be responsible for this?

3. My wife's Silver plan went up about 15%.

It's still less than half what she was paying before ACA. I expected some adjustment this year. Rates in Minnesota were the lowest in the country. So, an adjustment was made. It still beats the Hell out of what she was paying before. Me? I'm on Medicare, which should be available to all, IMO.

5. Mine's up 20%

FWIW, mine went up 20%. There is now an "out of pocket" limit on prescriptions, but I'm dubious that would be a 20% impact.

7. Ours went up about 6 bucks per month, which is about the same as past years.

8. I haven't checked rates, but am tempted to leave Anthem.

I had about $600,000 in work done this year at Stanford Hospital, and had to fight Anthem for coverage.

I'm still fighting over a $27,500 helicopter ride, but think I'll win.

Stanford hospital was in network but physicians were not and now it looks like both will drop Anthem as a partner.

These people are the best and I want to stay with them.

I should say I'm grateful to Anthem for not fighting back when I filed 14 grievances worth almost all of that $600K, but I really shouldn't have had to go through all that.

Thanks, for sure, to ACA and Obama!

The guy is so sick that a doctor or an on scene commander ordered a Medevac flight to save life, limb and health, and he wants it to be free.

That's like saying my car payment is only $200 a month and I can't figure out why my brother's payment is $600 a month.

Most people would have a lower premium if they got moved to a gazillion-dollar deductible policy from the jug-eared Kenyan.

I suspect if not an outright lie (long been a leftist script) socialist Steve is too stupid to grasp that his rates have not gone down but he is sucking heavier on the welfare subsidy teat so paying less in his "retirement".

The only thing Steve has seen decline is his IQ

I met a 65 year old waitress who just had a hip replacement. She is on medicare and declared "I don't care what anyone says I love owebumacare"
She must just love how she got her operation for "free".
She probably wouldn't have loved owebumacare as much if she got the surgery disapproved from the owebumacare death panels.

It has taken my mother three years to get a knee replacement approved. They changed the rules mid stream...her first doctor retired...this is like Canada. They will only do one knee at a time, they would hate to give her two knees at once in case she dies and is no longer a tax payer..of course she will still be eligible to vote.
