Obama's "Unpopularity"
I can't believe how many times I've read or heard pundits refer to President Obama's "unpopularity." Say it often enough and it becomes a fact, I guess.
He's not "unpopular" with me. I think he's done a pretty good job in spite of overwhelming odds and problems that he's had to deal with.
It seems to me that the mainstream media is intentionally trying to affect the election by this tactic.

1. Oh, but didn't you notice the lack of people at his speeches? Lack of enthusiasm?
I agree. He's doing the best job he can with all the obstacles the Repugs have put in his way. None of them could have done as well. I'm sure it upsets them to no end to see the crowds Obama draws and he has a way of getting the young people excited.
Could you see Boehner or McConnell doing the same? Yawn!

2. He doesn't have a 100 percent disapproval rate
So of course there will be individuals who find it unbelievable that he is not popular. He has 41 percent that still find him acceptable and actually that is not bad for a President in their 6th year. Americans have always bored of sameness. Americans want something new every so often

5. Almost everyday since Obama became president, this inept media has been trashing the president, and
effectively parroting the right wing talking points.
This was the media that told us romney was going to win, the SC ruled against the ACA, and Gabby Giffords was killed

13. So now they're pushing that the President is "unpopular" because they think they've made it so..
You want to see some enthusiasm in spite of the corporatemedia pushing the "enthusiasm gap" meme?

11. my 17 yr old, in highschool, in a very red area was telling me yesterday, i would be surprised who
supports obama. he was referring to a good ole country boy who had asked a kid that made a derogatory remark about obama, what? what horrible thing has obama done since being in office? one thing that is majorly wrong that he has done. one.
go to bush and you see disastrous policy.
but, with obama there is no disastrous policy, not one, let alone many.
this had me thinking that this high school kid viewed it in this manner. i have to feel that as a whole, taking all these 6 years, those that are not politically active, or more, party oriented are looking at these 6 yrs of leadership with an adult, and are not to bothered having this type pres.
Does anyone have a DUmbass to human translator?

Since when has this primitive known anything about what it means to be an adult?
She should go back to whining and moaning about male privilege, or whatever she calls it.

Donna Brazile tweeted a great comment that the GOP should use in every ad.

Republicans only discuss their plans in the vaguest possible form. So far, they’re pro-American, anti-Obama, and that’s about it.

Republicans are pro-American and anti-Obama, which implies that Obama is anti-American.

What Zathras said, plus what the DUmbshits want is total and unquestioning obedience from all Americans, not just the ones who voted for him.
