Pew poll: People prefer republicans on handling the economy and budget deficit. WTF!
That is a triumph of perception (and the endless repetition of conservative talking points) over reality.

1. White guys
Self-injurious fools. They skew the numbers and I don't even have to look.
Racism???
Wonder if any other libs have thought of that?

2. A believable poll.
I'm not surprised.
The DNC and the White House have done a flat-out plain crappy job of touting the successes and accomplishments of the Obama administration.
Did you know that the national unemployment rate has fallen below six percent?
Well, DUers may know that, but hardly anybody else does.
And ... speaking as a Colorado voter, our risk averse U.S. Senator, Mark Udall, has been running his whole reelection campaign on a defensive strategy, no offense to speak of at all. If Udall won't talk about accomplishments that have happened over the last six years, well, the Republicans are going to fill that vacuum with their own version.
I think Democrats will keep the Senate with one vote and some important governorships will flip to Democratic -- GOTV could save the day. But I believe the finds of this poll, because it is just the truth about the national Democratic Party and Pres. Obama's lack of ability or enthusiasm to brag on themselves ... why Democrats get like this is a mystery to me, but is seems to happen.
So what has Odumbo spent 6 years blaming Bush for?

3. Also...
....most people are really really dumb.

They know. The tsunami is coming.
Nine Senate seats will flip (there's always one or two that you didn't see coming, such as the D seat in NM).

Or, DUmbass, it could be that Udall has spent the last six years as one of the many pivot men in the obama circle jerk and he doesn't have one damn thing he can really run on - other than he's not a racist Republican...
-
Udall doesn't need to take chances.
Colorado is so infested with mexicans and potheads he has a huge built-in base of support.

It's hard to get potheads to the polls.
As for the mexicans, sometimes even mini tacos don't work.

The perception and reality that many people see is their empty wallets and lack of jobs and job security. The real unemployment number is closer to 18% than 6 percent.

Everyone knows that number, but no one believes it. It isn't real.

The reality is that people prefer grown ups handling the economy and budget over a bunch of wild eyed leftists who's idea of a budget is to spend what we don't have on stupid things we don't need and then tax the people who don't benefit from the stupid things that the leftists blew the budget on..... Oh, and also to print up more money when you can't tax the people any more.

Libs invented the bike you can back pedal...

That product will sell like hotcakes to libs, and in the meantime might even create jobs and strengthen the economy.

It's hard to get potheads to the polls.
Actually, if legalization of dope's on the ballot, they vote in hordes.
That's why Scott Brown's no longer U.S. Senator from Massachusetts.
But once dope's legalized, they don't care any more, and you're right.

I don't see why republicans don't support legalization. Get it nationwide and they'd win every election when half the dems are stoned out of their minds sitting on their couches come election day
