TPM Article Likely Voters Want GOP Senate Control - Are You Frigging Kidding Me?
The latest TPM article about voter preference is really disturbing. The fact that voters supposedly want the GOP to control the Senate is absolutely deranged. And the other part of the poll that women are moving toward the GOP is even more insane. WTF is wrong with this country. It looks like key voters are ready to turn the country over to its executioners.

When you look at the KOCH agenda about abolishing Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid and the GOP ending contraception with personhood and then turning the country over to the Churches it is unthinkable about the GOP running things. And what is even worse when you hear that the GOP wants to send divisions of troops back to Iraq it makes you want to scream.

I am simply stunned by what it looks like is happening. The GOP will further devastate this country. And jobs and wages will just about completely deflate under GOP control.

The way I see it is that the mad dog anti Obama media and all the racist hatred has just about totally blinded this country.

Now just hop along and keep kicking that rock in front of you. (http://i6.ifrm.com/13592/198/emo/sad030.gif)

8. Then why not opt for Democratic control of the House?

I think we are underestimating how (warranted or not) unpopular Obama has become. It's stupid as ****, but apparently, America is a stupid as **** country.

Come on America, vote Blue for your future! History will judge what we do in two week

Slowly but surely they are steeling themselves for the inevitable next month. Big Chief Onefoot of the Icantawalka tribe is leading the pack, feigning disbelief for 2014 and, if he makes it to 2016 without his wife sinking a few blades in his chest, utter terror for 2016. Because then he is SURE that his SS check, currently used to freshen his Depends, will dry up completely. Unlike the orifices that require the Depends, of course.

Is this something those of us who are Republicans are trying to do?

Anybody know?

I'd be okay with that.  Talk about an economic boost seeing that stuff not stolen from your paycheck.

Well, yeah.

But I haven't seen any Republican proposals to do that.

I haven't even heard Republicans talking about doing these things.

The peg-leg idiot's a panic-monger, and the primitives are of course susceptible to panic.

But seriously, both the one-legged idiot and franksolich'll be dead and in our graves before that happens, given how slowly changes happen.

So I think peg-leg is just panic-mongering; it's not going to happen any time soon.

It's part of the Dems "FEAR! FEAR ! FEAR!" campaign.

You know, the thing they accuse the Republicans of doing while they're the ones really doing it.

It is such a strange attack idea, that Republicans want to get rid of contraception.  Perhaps there is a tiny, miniscule faction, but I'm sure not aware of it.

So I think peg-leg is just panic-mongering; it's not going to happen any time soon.

Only the fringe fiscal Conservatives seriously pursue anything like that, the Social Security system as it is now is so embedded in the retirement calculations of virtually all working Americans, including the career military, that it's inextricable.  Many things about it may be adjusted, including tax rates, eligibility age, or even means testing, but the core of it just has far too high a percentage of the working population (and their families) too deeply invested to back out, and since it's run as constant revenue-in/benefits-out system with no bankroll, it's not financially possible to cash out a hundred million contributors to wind it up.

It's a pipe dream of some hard-core fiscal geeks, and a perennial bogeyman for the Democrat politicians to use to scare the Medicare crowd.  It ain't gonna happen.

Interestingly, The Catholic Church is against contraception but breaks liberal on almost everything else (extreme liberal in terms of illegals and amnesty).

Of course, conservatives just don't want to have to pay for the sandra flukes of the left's wanton sex life...

Why thank you and back at you. I take protracted leaves from CC for certain (good) reasons, but I'm planning to be back for a long while. Meanwhile the Constipated Old Bastard dramatic archetype, of which Banzin is a prime example, is my least favorite and therefore I will always react in force. I'm running out of puns to express my deep satisfaction at his loss of a foot, so for some reason my needle stopped at the above. I like to imagine that the loss of his foot is a physical manifestation of the loss of his mind, in which case we may expect other of his extremities to fall away soon. Then again, what do I know? I'm a "GOPPER," whatever that is.

I'm pretty sure that's been our agenda for decades.

In the '60s there was no such thing as Medicare or Medicaid, but the Lyndon Johnson campaign was telling us that  if Goldwater won it would mean the end of Social Security.

(Of course they also said it would mean our nuclear annihilation, but to democrats Social Security was more important.)

Something has got to change with Social Security and SSDI.   SS will see some of the changes you mentioned, but it will never go away.

SSDI could be fixed by returning it to it's origins. It should be for only the truly disabled, not for druggies and alcoholics, nor for those children whose parents get if for them in grade school.

And honey, I am going to say that you are nuts if you think the GOP will harm this country more than a democrat.  I forsee the economy going like a rocket the minute everyone knows the GOP takes over.

Yeah, the SSDI part is completely broken, and although the old-age portion can be rehabbed by various means, the disability part is dragging the whole thing over the edge of a cliff.

Not to my knowledge.  I do remember the idea being tossed around of phasing it out by younger workers putting their SS money into private accounts where they would actually have more when they retire.  But the left has even poo pooed that idea, because it makes such a great political tool for scaring everybody.

There were no Republican Proposals to strip health insurance coverage for contraception, either.  There weren't any Republicans even talking about doing it.

And yet every last one of those sad, miserable little sunzabitches over there on Skins' Island of Misfit ****-ups knew they'd seen it coming for months and months, when the skanky slut Sandra Fluke (rhymes with...) said they were.

Closely-held Christian businesses did not want want to pay for aborticides, while still providing their employees with 15 or 16 different types of contraception.  Dummies extrapolate this case in order to claim that Republicans want to ban all contraception.
