MSNBC
I try to watch it but can't anymore. I can't even take Rachel Maddow anymore. They no longer do any real journalism and they pick the latest ratings "gimmick" and do it 24/7. I'm done and it's a shame because we NEED a liberal voice in the media. I miss Keith Olbermann he would have never put up with this!

3. I still see them doing stories I heard about
on Dem Underground or Daily Kos a week or two earlier quite often. But they at least usually have some details I didn't see earlier.

4. I dvr everything
I find that an hour show takes ten minutes.
Hayes and Tweety are hyperventilating and Rachel has gone overboard with the fear aspect.
Dare I say that Shephard got it right?

5. Even When they aren't covering Ebola
24/7 Rachel has been frustrating me. I'm not in school, I don't need a lecture for half her show.

8. That's exactly how I feel
I used to love to watch Rachel, but her constant "teaching" wore thin. I want to be informed and enlightened, to hear what the news is and what is going on in the country and the world. The didactic approach is not only grating but a bit insulting.
The carpetmuncher is PMSNBC's version of nutcase nadin.

7. I want my news/info STRAIGHT-FORWARD. I abhor 'schtick' when used
as a trademark - it soon becomes tiresome and sounding like they are parodying themselves.

10. I hope they make some changes
I really don't want to see it go under but it is HARD to watch!

9. To be fair, MSNBC *NEVER* did any real journalism.
Unlike Fox "News," the word "News" appears nowhere in MSNBC's name, advertising or promotions. They never pretending to be "News" channel, as Fox claims to be. They are "The Place for Politics." Period. Fox dupes its viewers with their "Fair And Balanced" slogan. MSNBC says "The Place For Politics" or "Lean Forward." They are an OPINION channel, and have never been anything else.

the ratings back me up!

15. Yes. Their ratings are brutal.
I wonder how long it can stay alive with so few viewers.

14. What really cracks me up is the choreographed hand gestures.
You can tell they have been coached to do it. Almost all of them do it. Nobody I know in real life have their hands flailing around like that when they talk. They picked it up from the NFL commentators, I think it was John Madden that started the whole thing and it focused group it's way into all the talk shows. It cheapens the whole experience for me. I have even noticed Chris Hayes suddenly remember and start flailing again when the camera was on him. Even Rachel is now doing it. It's not news it's a show, with all the gimmicks, and flashy moving objects to trick you out of your attention and time.

I flipped on Olbermann a week ago or so. He seems SO much more comfortable and entertaining doing sports. The rare times I dared watch his political shows, he was just bordering on DU-like insanity.
(No, I didn't dare watch his ESPN crap when he opined on the Redskins nickname/mascot. That would have been insufferable.)

I watched him on ESPN 20 years ago. Now I turn the channel when there's even a hint of his ****ing face coming on. Likewise Bob Costas. I could give a shit what either of them has to say about ANYTHING now that I know what their politics are.

That Maddow is one odd looking dude. :o

Keef is as much an arrogant, insufferable prick on ESPN as he was on PMSNBC.
Compared to him, Jemele Hill and Skip Bayless are likable.
I hope he stays buried on ESPN2 until he does something to get fired again.

Translation: I've already received my talking points and marching orders. All they do is repeat them again and again.

Translation: Just tell me what to think and how to express it without all the flowery "feel good" mess.
