If the Democratic Party deserts Alison Lundergan Grimes...

...I will desert the Democratic Party. I will become an Independent. I will continue to vote for Democratic values but I will feel no impetus to vote for cowards and spineless creatures.

Alison is a star of the Democratic Party. If you look at her website, she is getting support from every state in the nation. She has large, enthusiastic crowds wherever she goes. She is fighting very hard to beat Mitch McConnell, the architect of gridlock in Washington. And the Democrats want to desert her?

Too bad.

3. Did they say why

they halted funding? Last poll I saw had Mitch up only 3 percentage points.

7. Because of her POTUS snub.

8. That would be silly

if that were the reason.

5. Hasn't Grimes deserted the Democratic Party?

She doesn't want anything to do with the POTUS and seems scared to death about letting Kentuckians know that their healthcare is "Obamacare" and Mitch wants to take it away. I bet if she acted like a Democrat things would go a whole lot better for her. Sadly, it appears Turtleman is going to win.

6. She's no star. She's another weasel afraid to say she voted for the President of the United States.

9. while i want her to win, she certainly is not a "star" of the party

11. I've never seen her as having a chance at beating twitchymitchy

yes, I know the polls have had it close, but I never thought she'd pull it off.

17. Alison Grimes just might be the only hope for Kentucky.

I'd like to hold out some hope, to maybe where the mainstream party abandoning her might make her seem more independent, and, therefore, more electable to moderates, but it's kind of a long stretch.

And Louisiana and South Dakota are definitely toast for sure, no doubt.

Every year I nominate kentuck for DOTY just because he is stupider then tree stump moss.
He seems to be working harder at placing this year but not sure he can gain much ground.

Joe Trippi was just on On The Record and he told Greta Van Sustren that the DSCC is putting money into Kentucky, but it's going into GOTV efforts, seeing how bad the turnout seems as if it's going to be.  I think I heard the number "$6 million" mentioned.

I suppose Barry's EPA shutting down power plants and coal mines in Kentucky doesn't have a thing to do with torpedoing Grimes' senate run, does it.   :lmao:
