Once you start reading and doing research, it is good to find the epistemology of terms, in this case, white privilege. I have quite a bit more to read on this before writing an essay on this, but it is important. Especially now, that we have far more self awareness of this than ever before.
It is not about guilt either. Or any of the other terms used to try to dismiss it. It is a real term, it is real with real policy effects, So be it.

Never mind, given my experience with the Battletech fanatics over a decade ago, and now this... I think not even Dark Angels and modeling are safe. Yes, I got death threats before it was cool, and before computers went really mainstream.

It's a genuinely criminal shame that people would do that, Nadin. You were always civil, polite, reasonable, and a voice for sanity.
For the life of me, I will never understand why most males have such misguided sense of prerogative that allows them to make such threats. I know that "stupidity in a moment of emotion" plays a part. I admit to saying some incredibly idiotic things when I'm emotional. It's still no excuse for stating an intention to harm another in any way.

You have a right to pay for an attorney for the criminal that wronged you. You have the right to be despised by the democrat voters. You have a right to be discriminated against by minorities. Didn't she claim at one time to have been caving and is an expert. Don't have time to look up her accomplishments.

I had to Nadin spellonkers.....couldn't find it. I think she means spelunkers. It means; "one who makes a hobby of exploring and studying caves".

She actually spelled 'Epistemology' correctly, amazing...it may possibly even be the word she actually meant to use in that phrase, even if 'Etiology' would have made considerably more sense.
