For ****s Sake calm the mother ****ing hell down - we are keeping the Senate

Get your ass out to vote, Progressive/Liberal, DLCC, Conservative Dems. There is no path to victory for the Repubs is you do one thing, get off your ass and vote.

Edit to add; it is simple friggen arithmetic, just vote.

1. I agree

and progress is being made. It might not seem like it, but the tide is turning as more and more people see the truth of what is going on. GOTV!!!

9. Young people learned in the last mid-term that mid-terms MATTER....

But keep in mind they've gerrymandered the hell out of DISTRICTS so even though more people voted for Dems than Republicans in 2012 the Republicans ADDED seats in the House.

22. With the last 5, dang near 6 years of bullshit from the puke party

I can't see how they can even hope to win enough seats to gain the upper hand. I'll be up at the polling place when it opens. I'm sick of their shit

When the noise machine is trying so hard to tell us something that isn't likely to happen that tells me the same thing as what we're saying here.

Then cali comes in with a bucket of cold water:

23. really? who am I supposed to vote for? there's no Senate race in my state

and your post is silly. I hope we keep the Senate. but DUers overwhelmingly vote so your message to us is dumb.

And no, there is sure as shit no guarantee that we'll keep the Senate. My sense is that we'll either keep it by one seat, split or lose by 5+ seats.

 :rotf:

That prediction pretty much encompasses every outcome except force majeure (I.e., unforeseen superseding events like asteroid impacts or coups).

The Dems shouldn't lose the Senate.  There are more dead people they can get to vote and illegal aliens they can bus in, than in the last election.

There is something odd about that map.  They've got Kansas red, which would make it 53/47, not 52/48.

I do agree with this DUmmie:

Even though she's still a DUmmie, it seems to me that cali has grown some wisdom in her advancing golden years.

Cali is a bitch, but she can be pretty damn funny when she beats up on the other primitives.

Stepping back and observing DU as a whole or as a single organism, It seems to me it has a manic-depressive personality similar to the fizzy one.  They have absolutely no rational hope of gaining control of the house and about a 4.5% chance of holding the Senate.

I think I'm going to enjoy Nov. and Dec. very much this year.

I'm pretty sure that's not a good thing for the Commie Rat Party.

She does seem to be having a surprising number of lucid moments lately.  Still a moonbat at heart, of course.

You might watch what you hope for DUmmie. More and more, young people are becoming disillusioned with DemonRats.  No jobs, and college even after Barry Big Ears took over the college loan sharking business. No jobs, but they have to buy health insurance that young and healthy people never considered buying before. They use to get by on buying catastrophic coverage, but Barry won't let them do that anymore.
