shit. what a cluster f%#@

after months of diarrhea, weight loss, and gut pain, had a colonoscopy which showed nsaid burn.

luckily, i got my carpal tunnel fixed, and didnt need the 2x daily pain meds. got adjusted to living with withdrawal/rebound pain. settling down.

not so bad, hanging in.

then i had a tiny little fall that broke 3 ribs.

took meds for the first 2 weeks, because i had to keep functioning. now things are quieted down. so i am cutting back to save my guts, but can i have my pain meds back?

just taking them at night. toughing it out.

ugh. ****.

<<<wondering if the overuse of pharmaceuticals leads to flawed perception which leads to lousy sense of balance which leads to falling down which leads to breaking things which pain leads to a need for yet more pharmaceuticals.....

4. and- the city is harassing me over my farm.

sending me pasta complaints- throw everything at the wall and see what sticks. some of it downright delusional.

little dog has cancer.

it's nuts in here.

Now, if Big Mo had a more positive attitude about things, she'd handle all these bad things with ease and aplomb.

<<<always maintains a positive attitude about things.

Toughing it out now, but couldn't before. Mo can't reflect on, or predict repetitive behavior.

Why does the little doggie have suffer, Mo? Just because you haven't the courage to off yourself to avoid pain, that's no reason to put the little dog though so much pain and misery.

Besides, if the little dog had a free will, he would have probably ran out into the street for "suicide by truck" shortly after you got him.

Sounds like Mo has just about all she needs for the makings of a country song.

The only thing that would make that DUmmie's misery any more enjoyable would be if, impossible as this might be, she realized she was the author of almost all of her own difficulties...shortly followed by a Woe Is Me/GBCW post on DU and self-euthanasia.

Is this the chicken lady that started a semi-farm on a couple or abandon lots she had to pay an arm and a leg for ???

Take a ride on Amtrack, Boston to DC.   Mid spring and going through the worse slums I in the North have ever seen is when you go past NJ.  Strange but the abandoned factory's with 3 + story's of broken windows have a forth or 5 th story of un broken windows, air conditioners and cabal dishes attached. The roofs have been turned into gardens, some small sheds that look like chicken coops, or pidgin  lofts.

Have been told by regular commuters they have also seen goats, cows grazing on the abandoned property around the buildings.   Looking down into the streets  not a lot of cars or trucks, makes me wonder where the people are.

Then there are the real old depression photos that show much the same thing of how the poor survived that time and age.    Living in a big city with little to help oneself, filthy water and cold water flats, little to non medical care and  lucky were those that had shoes for their feet.

Seriously, and remember that I for the moment am positively inclined towards Big Mo, Big Mo needs to be of good cheer.  Difficulties are meant to teach us how to become a better person, and she needs to take all this bad stuff as a growing experience leading her into an old age of calm and serenity.

Thank you, Frank, for saying exactly what I needed to hear and what I currently am pounding into my head

Big Mo is a perfect example of "The Neighbor From Hell".

And a Top Ten contender in DUmmy of the Year voting.

Yeah, probably, but I'm not too enthusiastic about it.

You see, I consider Big Mo one of "my" primitives, along with others such as Skins, Manny, cbayer, Wills, or cali, and I don't want anything bad to happen to them.

But if they win a top ten spot, or any one of the special awards, I guess I'll do what I have to do.

Here's what speed reading got me. I thought your last sentence ended with 'calm and senility'.

We are talking about the Chicago Chicken Witch, after all!

All the ingredients to make it into chicken salad.
