Nadin Brzezinski Gets uglier than that. They had the guys in Class I suits (Yelllow duckies) what you need are PVP tyvek, (class III) and forget that, the guy from Public Health was walking back and forth in street clothes through the first layer and second layer of the Hazmat zone. I was literally swearing at the TV!!!! I mean, I used to do this in Mexico, and I have not seen that many violations of protocol DURING TRAINING with greenhorns!!!!

Nadin Brzezinski I know. But this is how something that should be very easy to contain in a first world medical center, will spread. Entenovirus 68 is far easier (and scarier if you are a kid) to catch.

I had never heard of "PVP" so I decided to nadin the info to find out what it was. Still don't know what "PVP" is, but I did find some info on hazmat suits. I just scanned the info, but it has me wondering if nadin has nadined the information correctly. Can someone here who knows give some info on hazmat suits? Thanks.

I don't know what the heck gNads is yammering about either.
But in a previous line of work I did, we would wear Tyveks when dealing with PCB's or in heavy dust areas.. Also seen the same white tyveks in use with Asbestos Abatement crews. I had only seen the yellow "rubber duckies" in containment areas, inside the red barricade tape, or where biologicals were being handled.

I just googled pvp Tyvek and the first few results had to do with World of Warcraft. :rofl:
You can get white Tyvek suits at any home supply store. They're used by people that are painting or doing other stuff that will get them dirty.
