President Obama is doing it again..

Knocking it out of the park!

He's at Northwestern University talking to students and supporters,

giving an overview of all his administration has accomplished so far.

Although I don't agree with him on everything -- His support for the TPP,

for instance -- He is SO impressive -- SO smart, SO poised, so "Presidential"

I will ALWAYS be proud to have voted for this man...Anyone who can not

see why he won two terms is a flaming idiot.

Now let's take a look at just a clip of what the one so impressive, smart, poised, and presidential had to say...

Quote
“There’s a reason fewer Republicans are preaching doom on the deficits – it’s because the deficits have come down at almost a record pace and they’re now manageable,” Obama said. “There’s a reason fewer Republicans, you hear them running around about Obamacare – because while good, affordable health care might seem like a fanged threat to the freedom of the American people on Fox News, it turns out it’s working pretty well in the real world.”

The above is from: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/10/02/obama-goes-after-fox-news-again/

See? Everything in the US is just grand. Just dandy. I guess that means those begging on DU are liars. At least someone must being lying.

I'm beginning to wonder if Baghdad Bob, the former Iraqi Information Minister, has been hired as a speech writer.

For a blast from the past (and apparently the present) go here and read some of the Information Minister's past successes at knocking it out of the park.

Deficits may have went down, but debt is going up every single day.  Of course there is a price to pay for those lower deficits: Higher taxes and less growth for businesses and a reduced employment.

How can he campaign on lower deficits when at the same time blame everything that has gone wrong in his presidency on under funding?

Please compare Obama's deficits to Bush's.  2009 was the largest deficit ever.  It's not hard to cut that in half.

http://www.usgovernmentspending.com/federal_deficit_chart.html

Obama Deficits
FY 2015*: $564 bln               FY 2009†: $1,413 bln
FY 2014*: $649 bln               FY 2008: $458 bln
FY 2013: $680 bln                FY 2008: $458 bln
FY 2012: $1,087 bln             FY 2006: $248 bln
FY 2011: $1,300 bln            FY 2005: $318 bln
FY 2010: $1,294 bln

2010 - 2014 ... over five trillion in debt.
Even including 2009, from 2005-2009, Bush is only at 2.895 trillion.

Obama, no one falls for your bull shit, except your sychophants on Dummy Land.

And look at state deficits, such as his home state of Illinois where he was campaigning today.  Solidly Democratically run, and fiscally down the drain.

Meanwhile, former president George W. Bush is still a class act.

George W. Bush was given the opportunity to criticize Obama on Islamic State and Iraq. Here's how he handled it.

By T. Becket Adams | October 2, 2014 | 12:38 pm

Former President George W. Bush declined to criticize President Obama’s handling of Iraq and the rise of the Islamic State, the terrorist group that has captured large swaths of land in the Middle East, opting instead to respect the difficulties associated with the office.

“The president has to make the choices he thinks are important,” Bush said during a Fox News interview that aired Thursday. “I’m not going to second guess our president. I understand how tough the job is. To have a former president bloviating and second-guessing is, I don’t think, good for the presidency or the country.”

But that’s not to say that Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade didn’t try to coax an “I told you so” moment from Bush, who has warned in the past that withdrawing from Iraq without leaving some U.S. troops to ensure a smooth transition could end in disaster.

“I tell people all the time — off the record, by the way — that [former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice’s] relatives were enslaved in the greatest democracy ever for 100 years,” he added. “Democracy takes time to take hold. Yet there is an impatience with that process. Americans have got to understand that the lesson of [the September 2001 terrorist attacks] is still important today as it was right after 9/11, and that is the human condition elsewhere matters to our national security.”
