Why do no candidates for House or Senate want to be seen with Barack Obama?
It seems that few Democrats want to be identified with the President. That is understandable in red states but, even in blue states, they are shunning the President.
Is the President really that unpopular with the public?
Or has the Republican "hate propaganda" succeeded across the country?
Brand new, wonder if he will get any honest answers?

2. And your evidence for that is?
Link or it didn't happen.
The President has been a bit busy, and hasn't been out on the campaign trail much. His effectiveness will be greater closer to the actual election date.
But, if you have some links to some House and Senate candidates who have "shunned" the President's support, I'll be happy to visit them.
Rock head introduces the alternate reality answer.

Okay now, this is ridiculous.
The bluegrass primitive is pretty old, and he's been a candidate for public office before.
Surely he must know how unpopular Obumbles is, because it's been reported in the left-wing press too.

Nothing more than a DUmp circlejerk where they throw out a topic and convince themselves that the real reasons for the "problem" don't exist.

Obama has been quite busy. When he isn't busy ducking responsibility, he's busy shoveling BS and blaming others for his cockups. However, while he isn't campaigning for many people, he still finds lots of time to attend private fundraisers that only the rich people can afford to go to.

Democrats distancing themselves from President Obama as midterms approach
President Obama spent Labor Day in Wisconsin, opening the campaign season in a battleground state with a tight race for governor — but the Democrat at the top of the ticket there was nowhere to be seen.
Mary Burke, who is battling to unseat Republican Gov. Scott Walker, decided to steer clear of Obama’s visit to LaborFest, an annual salute to organized labor held in Milwaukee.
She became the latest in a parade of Democrats in tight races who have tried to create space between themselves and a President with weak poll numbers
But she’s is far from the first Democrat to detach from Obama.
And in July, Obama travelled to Colorado to speak at a fundraiser for Democratic Sen. Mark Udall — also in a close race for reelection.
But Udall backed out at the last minute, deciding instead to stay in Washington, D.C. and miss his own campaign event.
Other Democrats have been less subtle — Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu’s campaign began airing TV ads in April calling Obama’s policies, particular when it comes to energy, “simply wrong.â€
How's that DUmmie? Approved link?

18. At this particular point in time..any political campaigning by the President is a no go
We are in the middle of another Middle East crisis.. Even those who want him to come, understand that one..
Now that would hurt Democrats across the board if the President was spending his time campaigning instead of tending some very hot issues in DC right now

19. You may be right?
What is more important? Campaigning or leading the nation? I don't know that he can do both?
Take one guess which he chooses asshole.
Obama is visiting the Chicago area to deliver an economic speech Thursday at Northwestern University and to campaign for Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn, who is running for re-election Nov. 4.
The president is scheduled to arrive in Chicago late in the day Wednesday and depart Thursday in time to return to Washington for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute gala that night.
Obama will attend a fundraiser for Quinn on Thursday, then address Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. for the speech at Northwestern’s Cahn Auditorium in Evanston, a source told the Tribune.

:cheersmate:
It's tempting to say they: "go to great lengths to delude themselves", but that's incorrect. They simply grunt the same, long-debunked bullshit and attempt to claim victory. Which turns to *crickets* as soon as they're debunked again....
....and again and again...

This is not the first time I've noticed the bluegrass primitive having punctuation issues. "You may be right" and "I don't know that he can do both" are not questions.
Maybe the bluegrass primitive is one of those individuals who, when he used to answer questions in school directed to him, the teacher would have to follow-up by saying "Are you asking me or telling me?"

I've noticed something similar in the way some people speak now. They are making a statement, but the way their voice changes at the end it makes it sound more like a question.
