Small campfire where DUmmies discuss $50.00 to $100.00 bottles of Whisky that they cannot afford to buy.

1. Frig Scotch. Bourbon is better. nt
I would agree with this. A disclaimer should be included though. It must be union labor distilled bourbon. Which brings up a good point about Scotch whisky.

5. Scotch is the bastard son of Bourbon...
Bourbon must be aged in the barrel, and then the barrel must be used to age Scotch.
Log on to DU, get an education.

That is not a good source for an expert opinion on expensive Scotch. Cheap Scotch, yes, expensive Scotch, no way.

You don't consider Clan MacGregor expensive Scotch?

Billy Carter said he didn't trust no S.O.B. that drank Scotch and his brother Jimmy drank Scotch.
I rarely drink any thing hard the last 30+ years but when I did, I preferred Crown Royal.

Where do they come up with this shit?
Bourbon is distilled in the United States. Scotch is distilled in Scotland.
Scotch production is in no sense dependent on Bourbon production. Used Bourbon barrels are not shipped to Scotland and then used to age Scotch.
Stupid primitive.

I thought this would be a Wee Willie Pitt thread.

What he claims and what he drinks are light years apart.

I see DUmmy Ryanonumbers has learned to use Google.
I'm reminded of the legendary DUmmy TomInTib, who once claimed to drink a quart of Bombay Sapphire gin every night.

That was probably true. God willing, he is dead now.

Lagavulin is nice, but I prefer Highland Park 12.

Well I'm sure the pittster has some "Clan" in the bunker.
