I got a National Republican Senatorial Committee survey in my email. Finances are tight, so I didn't contribute--and it'll go to the Senate Conservatives Fund anyways--but I did answer their survey. They asked for comments at the end of it, and here's what I wrote:
We have to offer a VISION of what WE will do when WE are in power. Just saying "We're not Obama" isn't enough. Look at what the Republicans did in 1994 by offering a VISION. Yes, we'll probably win the Senate by saying that "We're not Obama," but if you want a veto-proof majority, you have to say what you're FOR.
I also just saw Steve the Lesser (from DU) on Cavuto's show, with Tracy Byrnes. Steve really couldn't spout off any talking points, which shocked me. Did I mention that Tracy Byrnes is Teh Hawt? She'd fit right in with the fine conservative wimmens here! :naughty: :drool: :whistling:
