WASHINGTON — The ISIS terror thugs are too brutal even for al Qaeda.
An al Qaeda affiliate has pleaded with ISIS kidnappers to release captured British taxi driver Alan Henning, but to no avail, an account from inside Syria reveals.
Henning is in grave danger somewhere in ISIS-controlled territory, after the same jihadi who executed two Americans and one British hostage threatened in a gruesome video that Henning would be next.
Henning had been traveling with an aid convoy for a UK-based charity when he got captured the day after Christmas, shortly after crossing the border from Turkey.
The awful executions have drawn international attention and helped mobilize world and regional powers to take on ISIS — but even fellow terrorists see the spree of kidnappings and killings as counterproductive.
