Vermont schools ban brownies: ‘The kids like kale here’

Quote
MONTPELIER, Vt. – To Vermont public schools, the brownie is as old fashioned as the powdered wig.

Brownies and other chocolate treats are now officially banned by the state. Vermont Watchdog reports the state is now pushing fruit kebabs, kale and gluten-free paleo lemon bars as school treats.

The ban comes in an attempt to comply with new federal school lunch and snack regulations championed by First Lady Michelle Obama.

Social conditioning.

Lol they hate brownies so bad they had to ban them. Good grief I'm glad I'm not a kid these days.

I'd be bringing my lunch from home if I was.

Some schools don't allow that. Less federal money...and peanut allergies and all, you know.

50+ years ago when I was in school, we had real food for hot lunches.

....and preferring green over brown is racist.....I been hanging around PC liberals to much.

I have heard of that at some private schools, but not public ones.  It could happen in some moonbat public school districts, but in this part of the country that just wouldn't fly.
